Thank you for these words and the service of this group. We have no one in our circle of friends or acquaintances dealing with a trans adult child...we do have many who are being shunned for various frivolous reasons... this group has really helped me.

Have a Blessed New Year!

Reading these gives me hope everyday. Knowing that we're not alone has been a Godsend. Merry Christmas PITT!!

And to all of my fellow parents who are struggling to make it through! May God bless you all!

Merry Christmas to all who celebrate. I have just been texting my daughter; I am not brave enough for a phone or video call; still sorting out the emotions that come with hearing the deeper voice and seeing the hairs on her chin. Also sorting out the emotions that come with a (very young, under 12) student who is being groomed by family into taking on a different name and pronouns. But neither of these is a reason to fall into self-pity or depression. I was never promised an easy life where everyone would do as I wish!

I have so many, many blessings and I am fortunate and grateful. I am a believer, redeemed in Christ. I can consciously choose not to let the things of this broken world dictate my attitude or how I feel this holiday—to even be able to choose that is a gift of grace. Thank you, PITT community for the prayers and solidarity you offer. ❤️❤️

Merry Christmas. Try to focus on any positives you have. Im thankful for an alive son (identifying as female) who is home for Christmas with his friend(same ID....who disowned his parents years ago).

Im gonna love him as best I can and keep praying for the light to shine someday
