A Message of Thanks
Today in the U.S. we celebrate Thanksgiving—a day set aside for gathering with the people who matter most to us. For many of us, this holiday has changed and feels very strained and uncomfortable.
When my own family first stepped into this world of gender ideology, it was incredibly hard to find balanced information or support for parents who weren’t sure that immediate affirmation was the right path. I remember how isolating that felt. But today, because so many of you have bravely shared your stories, parents who are searching don’t feel so alone any longer.
On this Thanksgiving, even if you’re not in the U.S., I want to hold out some hope. Even in the middle of grief or uncertainty, there is comfort in knowing we can walk through this together. We may not be able to change everything, but we can support one another, share what we’ve learned, and keep building a community where parents feel seen, heard, and strengthened.
As PITT Parents, we want to send our heartfelt thanks to each of you. Thank you to everyone who has shared your difficult stories, and thanks to all who read and contribute to PITT. Your voices help others feel less isolated, and your courage helps light the way for families who are struggling.
You are not alone. And even in the hardest seasons, there is still room for hope.
Happy Thanksgiving from the editors of PITT.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you, thank you for what you do
Thank YOU, editors of PITT. And everyone who has taken the trouble to contribute to this island of care, thoughtfulness, and sanity. 🙏🏼
