Wow! Awesome story! Kids got to be kids unlike now! Hey, I played with my brothers planes & trains when I was a kid in the 50s. I also played war instead of cowboys & indians. I'd hate to be a child now! And I used to copy my sister-in-law, my aunt, my uncle, other kids; it was called being a kid and exploring; we had no real clue about our sexuality till we hit puberty. Puberty was about styles, hair cuts or dos, slang; we were left alone to be kids. Now, kids lives are ruined by turning them into something they're not nore can every be. As a teen I wore men's shirts and jeans for about a year or so, then it was into stylish empire waist dresses in the 60s; I wasn't thrilled about puberty but I was happy to be growing up and not being considered a child, and my brain was maturing slowly. Today, a lot of kids will miss out on that with all the dangerous drugs and experimental surgery. Governments and medical personal need to give parents their children back and stop making them sick and sterile with a shorter life span and no real understanding of life whatsoever. More people are waking up to the medicalization & butchery of children who really need emotional/mental help; the tide with turn against transgenderism but the pace is slow. You are lucky to have been a kid in the 70s & 80s; the same time as my two boys and they figured life out, too. Those transgender kids don't get to figure things out or mature properly.
