Since having kids eight years ago, I keep going through “grass is always greener” phases with societal sex roles. “Men get heaped with compliments for doing a mediocre job with things women do every day to no applause. Men have lower bars to reach to be good parents, attractive people, considerate partners.” Be that as it may, at least I never got judged on stupid crap like holding textbooks or stretching out my fingers, for God’s sake.
