So many people seem to think it is LGB people driving the 'trans' movement and that it benefits them--it does not--it mutilates their healthy bodies and souls.
The primary beneficiaries and funders of the 'trans' movement, as we know from the investigative reporting about those who promote the 'T' part of the LGB, are the male, heterosexual cross-dresser sexual fetishists (autogynephiles/transvestic fetishists). They glommed onto the LGB, the DSDs (Intersex), and invented the 'trans child' and used the meaningless and incoherent 'gender identity' to obfuscate and gain greater acceptance for the T. How else would you be able to persuade the public to grant heterosexual males' sexual fetishes and paraphilias the status of a civil right in spite of its intrusion on women's rights and LGB's rights--both of which are sex-based.
