2022 has been a hard year for parents with trans identifying children especially for parents like me whose child turned 18, and now can legally harm themselves. My goal in this piece is to point out that a lot of good things happened too in 2022, and I’m going to be positive that they are the start of the tide turning.
I'm sorry, but nothing will substantially change in 2023 or 2024. The politicians and industries that are aligned with the non-binary movement will continue to stand with them, and the few left-leaning voters who claim to be aware of the dangers of the movement will continue to vote for and support them. The politicians who are enshrining "gender identity" into law will continue to do so until they feel real pushback from voters, which they haven't yet--and won't anytime soon, because the people who vote left will continue to vote left.
I'm praying everyday for my daughter who believes she is non binary. The doctors since she is a young adult didn't even look into her psychological history they just affirmed and did a hysterectomy. Praying it goes no further. This is not how I brought my children up. She needs to walk away.from it all before its to late.
The avoidance of coverage by the largest mainstream center, center left and left publications also made it possible for them and others to push the false narrative that anyone who questioned these medical interventions was right wing or religious, and to then claim those speaking out with medical concerns were only motivated by either politics or religion.
Even though, as anyone reading this likely knows, medical concerns alone are enough to warrant much more caution and for sure investigation and discussion of systematic outcomes. That right now we don't even know who is helped and who is terribly harmed.
Instead many of these publications kept casting all concerns as political/religious and calling any attempt to be cautious about these interventions as "anti-trans"--while in fact misrepresenting the large risks, the lack of established benefit, the existence of safer and at least sometimes more effective alternatives (which other countries now prioritize), and the uncertainties which should mean these treatments are within clinical studies with a very thorough informed consent process! So many of their readers were fed the lie that this is a known condition with a known treatment, and that all you need is to give kids these drugs and surgeries for them to be helped, and that the only problem is people who disagree with these treatments being easily available.
I hope the people making decisions at these largest publications will now get the word out-accurately!
As to your last sentence--why would you expect that? These very same publications would essentially be admitting that "the right" was right to push back against the trans movement. They won't do that. Why would you expect them to?

I actually couldn't truly believe that feminists were okay with this - I just didn't publicly hear the outcry; which of course was stifled by mainstream media. You've provided me with such immense hope. This administration has shown they're only supportive of the cause when the narrative secures the vote. No one in this world should ever be used like that. My daughter was left at the gates of a Chinese orphanage for simply being a girl. Now she's living in a country that is failing her again for being born female. Her words "had she been born a boy she wouldn't have been discarded", will haunt me forever. Her love for us and for God stops her from physically altering her body but she is deeply tormented. It is heartbreaking. I will follow the sources you've provided and again, thank you for all you are doing.
2022 was a year where absolutely nothing changed in my relationship with my 3 grandchildren caught in the cult. They started out the year refusing to have anything to do with me, and the year is ending up the same way. However: in 2022, I was not notified that any of the 3 had passed away or had become incapacitated from imbibing wrong sex hormones, and I was not told that any of the 3 had gone any further in their quest to change their sex by mutilation, or by having additional appendages attached to their bodies, or carved into their bodies. I did not hear that any of my 3 great grandchildren had run away in protest of living an insane life, where all the rules of their life have been turned upside down. (Where their once proud mother is now living as a pseudo-male.) Hear me, granddaughter? How could you do this to your babies? You, that mourned the loss of your unborn children. We mourned together, remember? How is this protecting your living children from harm? I miss you, granddaughter. I miss you. I miss my grandsons, as I knew you from birth, just as you were, you were loved, and cherished as precious and unique. Where are you, my beloveds?
Now wait a minute, what, your life has not changed to all things being perfect now? Oh, you are still miserable, after pretending for let's see, 9 years for one of you, still living at home with mom and playing on the computer? This is life? 5 years for another, how is life treating you in the opposite sex, all those fears and traumas gone away? How are the children doing, really? Do you care? And for number 3, going on 3 years, everything all okay, no more anxiety haunting you, no more flares of anger and overwhelming despair? Why, why, couldn't we talk of familial mental illness? If you want to resonate with actual trans identifying youth and young adults. Any of these links that go into christianity or far right conservatism won't be valid for 99 % of them. I would suggest a categorized list. Things like the NAPP of Australia s guidelines can and will resonate but I'm sorry things like the disconnected documentary will not. Even the trailer moves into conservative religion. it will be an instant light off switch for any trans identifying child or young adult. Even on genspect (which I think is valid, has links to PITT, which I relate too. While I embrace the hardship that my and ANY family going through this has endured, is enduring, and I read anything and everything on here. Things like Tucker Carlson or Mark Levin are instant off switches for these young adults and many science based progressives. The left ABSOLUTELY needs to get its foot in the game more. The problem with this hot topic is now unfortunately capitalism. Australia, Sweden, Finland, and the UK are now far ahead of the USA in reality checking about this. When you see sites in the US like "Plume online gender transition access for all", which is absolutely horrifying to me. Well they were just injected with 47 million. The new dsm 5 diagnosis creates billable codes, and a surgeon makes ..... How much per surgery? The therapists make how much for more patients faster? The Pharma corporations make how much off these hormone prescriptions? Those other countries are different from the US in that respect. Again this article was great, I truly appreciate it. It resonates with we the parents. Something has to resonate with the actual youth that are pulled into and gravitating towards this scary, new contagion

CCTV was then found to show a trans identifying man committing the rape.

I've been listening to some detransitioners on youtube about how they were lied to and how their lives have been ruined. Some have nerve damage, celiac disease, loss of vision, loss of sexual feeling, infertility, constant pain, osteoporosis, balding in females and that's just a few issues! The director of the gender clinic at the Royal Childrens Hospital in Melbourne (our our most Woke affected city) Associate Professor Michelle Telfer will be transferring to work in another area of the hospital for 6 months. The gender clinic at the Royal Childrens Hospital is based on the UKs Tavistock Clinic.
This might imply there is some sort of investigation going on, its unclear, as the information was minimal and typically sketchy.
But its a relief that Telfer will be resting her scalpel away from children for at least that long.
I’d like to think that she is being investigated but I thought I’d heard that she in fact has been given some kind of promotion?? She has been given some senior management role? I need to look into it more closely
She would not be being investigated personally, just her dept and how it conducted itself. Whether she has been promoted, demoted or moved sideways is just part of the typical obsfuscation.
In 6 months time where she is placed ongoing will imply the outcome. If they start shuffling her toward obscurity it may indicate the Public Health Service is trying to cover their rrrses for the anticipated onslaught of liability. Gender Critical peeps hope this will be the outcome as we understand there are gender confused young people but not a single one them born the wrong sex.
