This is great news. I think it would be a good idea to include the year this article was published.

Fantastic article . There's so many heartbreaking stories of the damage caused by Gender Afirmation only approach yet the public only gets to see the success stories through MSM and Social media wich gives them a false impression of the whole Gender issue.

Yes, great article 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The lack of quality evidence is really shocking - if you had similar results for any other condition, there is no way treatment would be approved, let alone have insurance forced to provide. I do hope that the lawsuits can help slow things down.

I have a lot of anger towards the progressives/liberals who are my own people. They have been the ones cheerleading the trans ideology and trying to make dissenters get cast out of polite society at best, and lose their livelihoods at worst.

Most my adult life I considered myself progressive/liberal. One day it occurred to me how pretentious and authoritarian the party had become, forcing it's "progressive" ways on everyone. I lost loyalty long ago.

I agree. I don't think any of 'us' realized it would come to this. I'm all about gender-bending, but NOT medicalization. As soon as doctors and pharma got involved, everything accelerated

I think everybody should dress however they please and pursue their interests but I think the problem starts earlier than doctors and pharma (who must be held to account). Minds & hearts and bent with the very damaging Cult Ideology of Gender: "using pronouns", "cis", "transgender" as an identity as opposed to "transexual" which is more of a descriptive word, Gender Unicorns in schools, Gay-straight Alliance clubs for minors... Even before/without medicalization the cult rips the young away from loving family and any other unbelievers. I think this is intentional. It makes them easy prey. It is crazy that you even have to state that a man in a dress with long hair and a woman in pants with short hair are still a man and a woman.

I look forward to seeing the outcome of the Konan case: https://libertycenter.org/cases/konen/

How do we help people see that this functions like a religion, with teachers playing the role of proselytizers and enforcers of the faith? If this could just be recognized as religious belief system we could establish some boundaries around this nonsense.

I feel that understanding this thing about preference falsification could help:

I think this is the question. We do need lawyers fighting against having doctors randomly cut off body parts, having Planned Parenthood and universities handing about cross-sex hormones like candy, and having schools undermine the parenting of minor children (and I do not mean just for "religious exemptions"). It needs to get more expensive in lawsuits than it is profitable.

But, I think the Gender Warriors are winning the ideological battle so far. Ideology is the key from which everything else follows. When people who speak up for reality feel compelled to call themselves "gender critical" you know the activists have "gone past the sale". I think that a lot of brains and money have gone into this and it made a lot of headway in sly ways/beneath the radar of most people. Books could (and should) be written on that some day.

For one thing, I think we need a simple messaging website similar but opposite to ones like this: https://medium.com/gender-inclusivit/why-i-put-pronouns-on-my-email-signature-and-linkedin-profile-and-you-should-too-d3dc942c8743 And, it needs to be widely published online and in print. Perhaps some newspapers could be persuaded to publish the concise information from two opposing websites. This stuff simply doesn't get aired enough among the general populace that has not yet been hurt by it or does not understand that they have been hurt by it.

I agree! We should all start writing more of these. The NYT piece made me VERY hopeful.

I wish I were that hopeful. I think it needs to be much more clear than what was in the NYT piece.

Humm.... I suspect there are a great many people out there who would be more than happy to stop "using their pronouns" if they had something they could point to in order to show that they are not necessarily being bad guys in not doing so.

And, then there are all the people who think that using "they" is sort of like "Ms" - that it's used because you don't know whether the person you are writing to in business might be a man or a woman/married or unmarried. I think we do generally know - based on a name, and the convention of "he" or "mankind" does not offend me. Taking all that to "logical" conclusions is madness. There isn't a great deal of awareness unless you are a family living in this hell.

I've had people who only knew my first initial and my last name say they assumed I was a man before we spoke on the phone. It never bothered me. "Misgendering" only sends someone into spasms if that person is mentally ill, socially mentally ill, or simply a manipulative narcissist.

You're right. The tactic of ripping children away from their parents is intentional. In what universe is the sexual orientation of a minor child the business of teachers? The evidence against Sprekels Union is damning. Jessica Konen has a very good case. She is a hero, and very brave.

It is good to see this sort of lawsuit (FL) as well because I think it's sadly common now. It doesn't sound much different from our situation which was in high school. "He claims school staff 'created a double life for my daughter' by having her assume a male name and pronouns and attend weekly gender crisis meetings" https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10449589/Clay-County-school-suit-update.html

This is the best and also the saddest news. These unthinking morons must be made to pay for the damage they’ve done.

Will be interesting to see whose heads roll and how doctors who've eagerly participated spin their involvement. Let this be the tipping point we've been anxiously awaiting! Let these lawyers be dedicated to this cause and impervious to the intimidation tactics that have kept so many locked in the narrative. Please, let this be the beginning of the end.

Detransitioners are the canaries in the coal mine. It was inevitable that their numbers would eventually surge, since they were indoctrinated at an age when they had no idea about who they were or what was true. We're all susceptible to group-think, but adolescents most of all. Lawsuits filed by parents in tandem with their detransitioned kids will be the key to fighting back against this evil industry.

Let's face it, the trans medical lobby has done a spectacular job -- with a lot of help from the media, the academy, and liberal politicians -- in convincing the public that transgenderism is a normal and ubiquitous aspect of human life and not to support it is the height of bigotry and cruelty. Detransitioners put the lie to the notion that there is something intrinsic and immutable about a trans identity. The testimony of sons and daughters who were led down the path of mutilation, sterility, and permanent sexual disability, among other things, is the most powerful weapon we have against this juggernaut.

Without the participation of the kids themselves, it will be difficult to convince ideologically captured judges and juries who adhere to the "would you rather have a dead son or a live daughter" argument. With their participation, there's no disputing the evidence of suffering and harm.

You can bet males who have lost their sex organs have sexual dysfunction and infertility. And estrogen plus suppressing their testosterone does the same.

Thank you for putting all this together and sharing it here!!!

And for those doctors doing this: the wpath "standards of care" are only practice guidelines, by a special interest group. They are low quality, getting a unanimous "do not recommend" in rigorous guideline review (Dahlen et Al, 2021). The drugs are off label, so you are responsible for harm, not the drug companies.

We need to make sure doctors hear this so they cannot claim they didn't know!

If doctors do not take responsibility for prescribing off label drugs who will?

Drug companies have no ethical concerns. They just meet consumer demand.

Did you see the back passing between doctors in the recently released trans train 4 from Sweden? Jesse Singal also just did a great interview of the reporters in that on his substack.

They all care when they get sued. And the insurance companies should be informed that these treatments rely on low quality evidence. That the FDA hasn't been shown that benefits outweigh risk.
