Dear Elon, I'd like to add and I know that this will be true for most parents here,........ we will stand shoulder to shoulder with you if you were able to find a way to speak out about this. We need someone with your profile to stand up for what is right and I can promise you that you will not stand alone.
There is no such thing as trans-gender! Please listen. God is not putting babies in the wrong bodies. The surgeons and pharmaceutical companies are behind this movement to make money! Anything sex based is evil: pornography, human trafficking, now trans. Fight! Fight hard! Fight harder!
What's holding me back in this is the imagined pain of gender dysphoria and incongruence in my daughter. It represents a genuine obstacle to communication and a motive for distance on my part.

The more I think about it, and the more research I do, the more I see how obviously absurd the idea of "trans kids" is. You are 100% correct. Anyone who doesn't put air quotes around that term is either mistaken or evil, take your pick. I believe most are mistaken. However, it just so happens that this type of mistake - often made through laziness, of thought and of effort, and more often made through self-centered motivations, like wanting to appear kind and open-minded (but not actually being either of those things with respect to this issue) - is creating a medical scandal of epic proportions and this mistaken belief is evil in its effect. Just as we are all shocked in retrospect that so many in and around Germany allowed the Holocaust to happen (and no, I'm not saying this medical and sociological scandal is the same as that, since that killed more than 6 million and tortured so many more. while this "only" kills a few unlucky people, and mostly "just" sterilizes and mutilates many, many thousands of young, vulnerable young people and robs them of their youth and their freedom of choice, which is, of course, not nearly as bad as killing and torturing so many million), it will be seen as shocking that so many encouraged these experimental "treatments" upon our vulnerable youth. So-called "trans kids" means young people who think they will only be happy if they mutilate their bodies to make them appear as the opposite sex, so they can perhaps be perceived as the opposite sex, because, supposedly, being perceived as such is the only way they can ever be happy. Does such a phenomenon make any sense? Are there really a bunch of people who were destined to mutilate their bodies and sterilize themselves to find their "true authentic selves?" If you think about it for one second, it sounds absolutely insane. And that is because it is in fact insane.
Everytime I read one of these harrowing stories, I just shake my head at our medical establishment wondering what happened to their oath of "do no harm?" Instead of root cause investigations, it just seems to be what is fashionable.

I fear Elon will not risk the public upset if he stands against the trans tyrants. He is a business man not an activist. But I hope to be proven wrong.
Welcome to this club. We are mostly mothers. More fathers needed. Men can be more logical in general, perhaps see this scientifically. Gender ideology is nonsense.
This is very well written... This sums up what every parent is going through with trans-kids, even if they become all loveydovey, because of the famous (and exaggerated) suicide threat. Actually Musk could help counteract the enormous sums the trans-party has on hand (is it really Pritzker cash) to push their drug.

The suicide threat is just emotional blackmail. The high time for suicide is 7-10 years in, as these sad deluded kids realize that they have wasted their youth on an illusion, and a particularly stupid one at that.
Excellent article and I agree whole heartedly. I'm in a similar position with my daughter, who now claims to be a trans man (at 19). Just trying to love her through all of this and take any opportunity to talk some sense into her. It is rough.
