Today is Detrans Awareness Day 2025. If you are reading this, you are very aware of detransitioners. You probably know someone whom you hope will be one soon. This is your chance to support detransitioners and help get their stories out.
This year’s event will take place on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. It aims to raise awareness of the harm caused by gender ideology, and to educate policymakers. It will also provide a platform for detransitioners and people who have been harmed by medical transition to share their experiences.
The event will include participation from Genspect, The Center for Bioethics and Culture, Heritage Foundation, Independent Women's Forum, Ethics & Public Policy Center, and Do No Harm.
The event is sold out (a good sign) but is being live-streamed and available for later viewing. Watch the livestream on Genspect’s X, YouTube, and Facebook pages Starting at 9:15 AM Eastern. Please listen and share.
