My daughter was diagnosed with anxiety at age 4 and peaked again at age 12 and has been uncontrollable since. Right after she diagnosed herself as transgender at age 15, I had switched her to Children’s Hospital Primary Care, Smithville, New Jersey. After 5 mins of meeting her, without background on her anxiety or self esteem issues, they sent me out of the room and told her to go to a clinic at Children’s Hospital in Philadelphia, PA for hormone treatment.
The tide has begun to turn in Europe. The Karolinska Institute in Sweden has ended the practice of prescribing puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones for minors, outside of clinical studies.
I believe Finland and the Netherlands have also adopted similar policies, both countries reversing their formerly automatic “gender affirming” approach.
The medical professions and educational institutions have been captured by the trans ideology. They have stopped exploring, following and informing themselves and their patients about the science. A medical and educational scandal of huge proportion.

Yes! No sooner are you hit with this cult than you - the mother - are told you need to go to therapy because you are upset about this great revelation that you need to "accept". Where I live there are special brainwashing centers for this and I know parents who attend. The whole thing is like institutionalized NXIVM - in our educational, medical and political systems.
My mom always used to say "I'm so mad I could spit nickels". Never knew what the hell that meant, still don't know but now I can somehow appreciate the level of anger in that comment. That is complete insanity and I could smack the smugness out of these doctors who think they know better than us parents just because they have a title and a certificate.
Not just America. Canada as well. Took my daughter in to family Dr. to investigate her dizzy spells. Dr told me to leave the room. Dr then asked me in and said I must take my daughter to a gender clinic and get therapy for myself to accept it.
CHoP is notoriously tone deaf when it comes to listening to parents. Anything you say goes through some kind of filter that they turn out hearing that you want your kid on hormones.

Because our health care system is demand driven.

I can relate. The same thing happened to us at Mary Bridge children’s hospital in Tacoma when my daughter was 15. Stay away from there as well.
