In Canada it's now eligal to use reprogrammes and the like. Ironically the government calls it conversion therapy and has made it eligal. I can't understand how medical professionals can take a confused young person and encourage them to change their gender and not consider THAT conversion therapy! Seems to me that that is the classic example.
How does it work? I assume it doesn't involve kidnapping, right? (Sorry my knowledge of deprogramming is limited to a vague memory of a movie about a religious cult)
I’m not sure exactly what it would look like. But it seems like this dad has a history of enough connection with his child that perhaps it would be possible to steal a moment alone (away from the activists) with a deprogrammer for the process to have an opportunity to take hold.
I wonder if you have considered hiring a deprogrammer?
