I don't have a child, but I follow this and other blogs about this topic because I do believe this is about sexualization and grooming of children.

Every time I read one of these stories, I wonder what can be done, what works and doesn't. If over 18 and the child has documented developmental issues, is there a legal path to bring the child (not age wise but a child of the parent's) back home? Are there any psychiatrists who still look for root cause of mental issues if you do bring them back. I'd like to read more about actions that have been taken to bring an 18+ child back. There must be some success stories to bring hope back to parents who suffer through these cults stealing their children.

No physicians will help. They're sell outs. They renounce science for political correctness. I'm very dissapointed

There ARE some who are on our side, just not many... yet. There are at least a couple of MDs here on PITT, there are some endocrinologists who are vocal (Dr Malone and I don't remember the other one). Also, I would look for older (and maybe immigrant) physicians.

We have to remember that children naturally leave home anyway at age about 18. I sold the family house and bought a house for my two youngest children, then moved in to renovate it for them. That way I was able to keep communicating. Sadly the youngest is still addicted to the testosterone last I heard. The good news now is she occasionally sends me photos. So technically no longer estranged. Still alive!
