Applause!! Thanks!! I share it in my FB page. And I will share it everywhere. Many people I know are still in the mentality that they have to support this to be “cool” people who I known my whole life, they don’t want to be labeled as “ intolerant “ and many of them are getting ballistic to support their support to this madness. Those are the people who don’t have convictions but they want to fit to all coasts, because people who affirm are being congratulated and put in a higher status, also parents who “support their own children, and this is another problem, the societal perception that is why when I confront them and I told “ you are a monster” and period I don’t let place for doubt and they don’t expect that because they expect praise but I expose them and I can explain very well why they are monsters starting because they take the vulnerability of a child that looks affirmation and love from their parents and know that their parents are so busy to pay any attention to them that the only way is turned into this “ confused with gender kid” and then their usually liberal parents pay attention to him or her and the vicious circle starts. One of the cases, there’s another reasons why they are misters, they want to be importantly and sought after as examples to follow in the “ supporting my son or daughter “ category, virtue signaling and all the royal status of being a mad person because parents who don’t know how to guide their children in this madness but to the contrary follow their children to the cliff? What we can expect! How this is not considered abused???? Let’s call things but their real name for once!!
Thank you! You wrote "Gender affirming care is not health care - it the chemical sterilization and surgical mutilation of confused, captured and mentally ill children and young adults. And it must stop." This is 100% the truth! I hope and pray that the medical field will develop a "conscience"
and listen to the truth - I am glad Kaiser is taking a firm stance, and I hope the other insurance companies will follow suit. God help us to save the children!
It isn't really all that firm a stance, unfortunately. They will perform surgeries (which are mostly breast amputations I think) on minors through the end of the month. Then, surgeries will pause for minors but they will still supply cross sex hormones, etc. it looks like. All bets are off if your kid is 19.
"Kaiser Permanente pauses transgender surgeries for minors due to Trump rules
Kaiser Permanente is pausing surgical ‘transitions’ for youth below age 19, but not hormones, starting August 29."
This is exactly why we need to lean in hard and make our voices heard right now. There is a window of opportunity here, a tipping point, and I believe we can help push them off the affirmation cliff and back into science based medicine.
All of it counts, in deed. We have been trained to act small and be silent. But courage is contagious. When one person stands up and acts with conviction, it breaks the silence, inspires others, and reverses the bystander effect. One brave act can spark a chain reaction of courage.
Thank you for this information. God, protect our children from the hands of the enemy. My daughter talks of this mutilation as soon as she out of the home. It breaks me to even think of such future sorrow. .
Given its scale as the largest managed care organization in the country, Kaiser ranks as a top institutional provider of puberty blockers and hormones, likely second only to Planned Parenthood in overall volume, (though PP doesn’t offer surgery,) especially in health-insured populations.
If we can pressure KP to eradicate gender distorting care, at least for minors to begin with, the other providers will shudder in fear and likely follow suit. But a concerted effort is needed to make our voices heard above the TRA crowd, who are loudly protesting this “pause,” which is only a minor victory for our team.
Malpractice insurance has already increased fivefold for some of those who provide this care for children now, causing some to reconsider. Let’s do everything we can to make our voices heard so that the threat of many potential lawsuits makes malpractice insurance unobtainable for all of these monsters. Let’s rattle the cage and scare the beast! Without a strong, concerted response, we are merely shaking our fists at the air. But together, we are a mighty force! Please send them a letter, this one or your own. Let’s dog pile on their complaint department.
Don’t fall asleep on this issue people! Just because Kaiser and other hospital systems say they are putting these evil surgeries on “pause” doesn’t mean anything once a new liberal president takes over. Let’s do our due diligence and make sure these criminal procedures never involve children again. Make your voice heard: share this article, attend school board meetings, peacefully protest, tell your healthcare provider you will not abide!
I 100% agree, Un-silent. At least 25 or 26. I don''t think you can get Lasik to correct nearsighted eyes under age 26 because the eye is still growing/changing.
Although, really, these experimental & not at all medically necessary cosmetic drugs and surgical interventions need to be ended in the US. Period. Full stop. If a handful of super motivated fetished guys over age 35 want to fly to Brazil and spend their own money - like it once was - that would be another thing. Most would drop it and move on.
The great Admiral Richard Levine, formerly of HHS, pressured WPATH to remove any age barrier because he understood that it could make people question the entire barbaric thing.
Then please send them a letter and tell them so. The only reason they made it 19+ is to avoid lawsuits from those who cannot actually consent. Very little has changed, we need to keep making noise about this issue.
I would be more than happy to write a letter and send to anyone and everyone. It sounds like Kaiser has stopped. If I could have the list of insurance companies who are doing this I will write to everyone of them. Where can I get this information?
As far as other insurance companies, I think all of the major ones do this - especially the ones used at universities. You might look up what your own insurance covers and start there?
Regarding Kaiser:
"Kaiser Permanente pauses transgender surgeries for minors due to Trump rules
Kaiser Permanente is pausing surgical ‘transitions’ for youth below age 19, but not hormones, starting August 29."
They will “pause” surgeries on minors (only) but will continue to hand out puberty blockers and hormones like Halloween candy and carve up our kids when they turn 18. And if the opportunity to resume surgical mutilation of minors presents itself, make no mistake, they will resume. They are the second largest provider of GAC (next to Planned Parenthood, but they don’t do surgery,) and if we can scare them enough to make them withdraw entirely, the smaller insurance companies will likely follow suit. That’s why I have focused so much of my attention on them specifically. Several young adults are suing them right now, so it’s a good time to all lean in together and push hard to put this to an end.
In fact, Chloe Cole is already suing Kaiser Permanente. I suspect that this lawsuit played a very large part in Kaiser's decision to "pause" their surgical predation upon vulnerable teens like Cole.
The same thing happened at LA Children's Hospital after Kaya Clementine Breen filed a lawsuit against them and Johanna Olson-Kennedy: LACH miraculously discovered that they could stop preying upon vulnerables teens like Breen. Who knew?
Weird how that thing we were told never happens--"nobody is performing gender-enforcing surgeries on minors"--is suddenly being stopped and the TRAs are having conniption fits over it.
The lawsuits are extremely important. However, it is the threat of losing government funding that has made the difference with Kaiser and LA Childrens - which still have a long way to go...
"Kaiser Permanente pauses transgender surgeries for minors due to Trump rules

"Weird how that thing we were told never happens--"nobody is performing gender-enforcing surgeries on minors"--is suddenly being stopped and the TRAs are having conniption fits over it." Yes - and those in "medicine" and pharma who profit from it in a big way.
God bless Chloe Cole. May she win her lawsuit and that lead to more legal action on behalf of many others. Whatever the outcome, the damage already done to her is permanent and she can never be normal.
"I urge you to remember why the public once trusted your white coats: physicians were guardians, not activists, and certainly not sales teams for irreversible surgeries and off-label use of pharmaceutical drugs for confused teenagers and young adults. Restore that trust. Halt the harm now. Return to the most basic precept of medicine:
This is a great letter and makes great points—I’m completely behind the message. BUT anytime I’ve put myself into a position where I am delivering this kind of information, the message is ignored, and I am written off as a crazy person. My opinion is that the content of these messages, whether written or otherwise, is never really internalized.
That may be so if it is just one letter. But if it is many, they will notice. My husband works for KP, and I can assure you that they DO read their letters and comments, and they do take them seriously. Whenever I have written a complaint, they have followed up with a response. Every single time. Often a letter AND a phone call. But right now, it is only the TRAs writing to complain about the pause. They need to hear from parents who are in favor of abolishing “GAC” entirely or our voices will not be heard or considered. Please send in a version of your own letter, don’t let the enemy convince you we are defeated before we’ve even tried. That devil is a liar. The victory belongs to us!!
I call it gender distorting medicalization, rather than the prevailing euphemistic “gender affirming care.” I feel that more accurately describes it for what it is.
The experimental & not at all medically necessary cosmetic drugs and surgeries are gender-ENFORCING interventions just like name changes at school behind the backs of parents are. It is crazy. We are not.
The only good defense is a good offence. And, yes, let's remember Chicken Little. Maybe we need a campaign that we call Chicken Little Truths about "Trans".
My daughter is no longer a minor and is on the "medical" path now. It started with "social affirmation" but not by family.
These pharma companies and doctors need to be in trouble with the federal government. I think that FTC conference was a good start. Richard/Rachael Levine pressured WPATH to remove any age limits for a reason. He understood that if it is bad for a 2 year old people might start to understand that it is bad for a 22 year old and the house of cards/racket will come down.
You made a very important distinction: we aren’t crazy, the doctors and activists who support child mutilation are. They want us to think the world sees us as crazy, they want us to sit down and shut up. But if we all stand up and make some noise, together, it will become apparent to every sane human who the crazy ones are! Many of my husband’s coworkers (in healthcare) are still very clueless about gender ideology. Unless it touches you personally, most are busy living their own lives and think “to each his own.” But when he shares the truth of what is happening (like the organ amputation of minors that the media says “doesn’t happen,”) they are confounded. Stunned. In disbelief.
We are the last remaining sane adults in the conversation, and we need to make our voices heard above the din of the media and ideological propaganda. And for that reason, I hope everyone here will be brave enough to write a letter, and say whatever you feel is best, to tell KP that we won’t stand for this. And we mean war. Not just that we don’t like it. We are going to fight it with all that is in us! At least, I am.
A big part of it is that the actual crazies and the profiteers have been able to get away with controlling the language. And, it is in all the newspaper/media Style Guides.
I like how Eleganta brought up how the commonly used language is marketing language, language which makes it all sound rather nice and kind or at least doesn't alarm people like it should. The language sanitizes what is actually happening.
I am sure anyone who spoke up in Germany in the 1930s looked crazy. Here's an oldie but goodie:
"Echoes of Eugenics: What the Doctors Trial at Nuremberg Means for Us in the US
On the 75th anniversary of the trial of Nazi doctors at Nuremberg we examine Nazi medicine and gender-affirming care"
We need to speak and write calmly, but I really don't like the concept that we need "to not sound crazy" by rejecting the entire racket.
And, it is a racket:
"U.S. Sex Reassignment Surgery Market Size, Share & Trends Analysis Report By Gender Transition (Male To Female, Female To Male), And Segment Forecasts, 2022 - 2030"
Alright. I started my letter. I am making mine less hyperbolic and accusatory than the sample here. I think accusations and drama quickly put people on the defensive and they are more inclined to disregard the message.
I’m sorry to hear that you find it hyperbolic and accusatory, but perhaps you are correct. Personally, I’m sick to death of hearing the neutered language and euphemistic vernacular that shrouds what is happening in more palatable terminology. But in any case, I’m grateful to hear that you’re writing a letter of your own. Perhaps you might share it with PITT as well?
It was definitely not a criticism. And I agree with you. I’m sick of it too. We as parents are speaking from a place of extreme pain and I think we ( including me) come off as overly emotional. I tried to write a letter to let the reader know that my family has had devastating consequences of gender ideology, but also here are the facts…. Not so much with the “you’re going to be sued” etc. my sense is that would be more effective.
The letter could become a meaningful piece of information in that way rather than me as the writer becoming a problem to manage.
Good reply - to each, her own. But, we are the ones pushing back on harmful craziness. I think it is time to call a spade a spade and not dance to the tune of the quacks. I don't think hospitals will drop such a lucrative practice just because it Harms people.
I hope this goes to the Supreme Court and loses:

I hear you. I think "Gender Affirming Care" must be irradiated in the US. It is not medicine.
If a few fetished fellas over age 35 wish to "fly to Brazil" and pay for it themselves - who can stop them. The current situation in the US must stop.
"Affirming" is a marketing term chosen specifically for its benign implication.
These experimental elective cosmetic drugs and surgeries are gender-ENFORCING medical interventions.
We need a new, more accurate and less marketing oriented term for "social affirmation". Maybe "identity interference/destruction"?
I call it gender distorting medicalization, rather than the prevailing euphemistic “gender affirming care.” I feel that more accurately describes it for what it is.
I like that. What about sex distorting medicalization?
"Gender" is so silly - like saying "limb" instead of arm or leg.
It avoids discussing that we each have unique personalities, too. Some are quirky.
Completely agree. But how do we stand up for our kids without looking crazy and immediately made to be irrelevant?
I think Eleganta has it.
The experimental & not at all medically necessary cosmetic drugs and surgeries are gender-ENFORCING interventions just like name changes at school behind the backs of parents are. It is crazy. We are not.

Keep standing up.
You know what the human social definition is of "looking crazy"? Being alone in your opinion. That's all.
When enough people have the guts to "look crazy," suddenly it stops looking crazy and becomes normal.
Remember Chicken Little.
Alright. I started my letter. I am making mine less hyperbolic and accusatory than the sample here. I think accusations and drama quickly put people on the defensive and they are more inclined to disregard the message.
