Welcome to the PITT weekly roundup where you find a list of the week’s postings along with links to some of our favorite books, videos, social media, and podcasts. Please continue the fight against the harms of gender ideology by sharing.
Access to all PITT content is free. Our objective is to inform the public of the devastating impact of gender ideology on families through our personal experiences. And it’s working - support for transitioning of children and distressed young adults is crumbling due to evidence-based findings.
Quote of the Week from Learnings From Lies: “It’s been a difficult journey since I desisted. Relapses, guilt, embarrassment, and stress have followed me like ghosts, but through them I’ve learned so much. I’ve come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a human born with the wrong sex.”

IN THE NEWS
…the AAP faces equally fierce objections, both from outside activists and a small but determined group of pediatrician members, over its steadfast support of minors’ access to gender-transition treatments, which this camp generally characterizes as a risky and unproven medical intervention for youths. For years, members of this bloc have criticized the organization for, they say, dragging its feet in commissioning a formal review of the evidence behind pediatric gender-transition treatment, especially as an increasing number of research groups have published such reviews and found the evidence woefully wanting.

WHAT WE’RE READING
Hounded: Women, Harms and the Gender Wars
by Jenny Lindsay
Hounded charts the often hidden and unspoken harms women face for prioritising and defending sex-based language and rights. Outlining the often-bewildering array of tactics used by opponents against such women, as well as the resilience required to refuse to be silenced, Lindsay presents a compelling argument for recognition of the individual and social harms that are being enacted under the auspices of ‘gender identity activism.’
