This is so similar to what our teachers are telling us at school, about all the gender thing... i would be so happy when i finally graduate and never heard anything of that again

Humor, albeit dark, is solace in the horrific storm. I continue to appreciate the company of other parents coping with the primal loss of a child who has fallen into the gender abyss. If only my college age son would read this, but he would deem this essay and other PITT articles as "transphobic" no matter how cogent. But I keep my thimble of hope, as his brain is not fully mature until at least the age of 25.

If only most of the adults involved in this movement had enough self-awareness to read this and come to their senses about what they're really indoctrinating children to believe.

It is great. I was thinking this a long time ago, but never put in words this great...

I had a nice time reading and laughing...

I wish I could show it to my kid but I guess we would have the worst fight... I am tired .

Just secretly celebrating the closure of the the horrible Tavistock

I already forwarded this to my friends. Very funny!

(And infuriating at the same time!)

I love this!!! I think I might be transroyal as well. And as far as being too extreme, absolutely not. You didn’t even threaten suicide in order to manipulate!

Bravo! Fantastic piece, and I give you so much (extra) credit for finding some humor in what I’m sure is a painful family situation.

This is absolutely brilliant. I will be sharing this extensively. Thank you so much, your highness.

Sincerely, a mere commoner.

This text illustrates thoroughly the power games I have been subjected to since my trans identified kids began feeding me with lies. Her total loss of respect for me which resulted in our mutual estrangement is a direct result of a system where she's encouraged, even celebrated for using deceit.

This is a good point. I definitely feel like the trans person in my family has no respect for their mother (who is bending over backwards to be accommodating, having been been fed the ‘dead son or trans daughter’ line) or everyone else who is being told to wipe their personal internal hard drives of any memories of who he was whilst simultaneously being told to welcome this new person with open arms as if they’ve known them all their lives. Isn’t lack of empathy a sign of a personality disorder? (Only half joking)

Superdragon I have been wondering and thank you for bringing this up. It turns out I specialised in antisocial personality disorder.

The elephant in the room consists of parents being consistently abused and mentally tortured yet holding on unthinkingly to a commitment as loving parents. We simply cannot perform our job as parents under these circumstances. Our children who we know were once normal people have turned nasty and dictatorial. The trend has taught them dangerously that dictatorship and abuse are OK.

Adolescents are by nature experimental, wreckless and impulsive. They grow out of this by way of exposure to various environmental cues, and they grow into adults with a reasonably well balanced personality.

The trend hits mostly adolescents that are specifically vulnerable to environmental cues. A psychopathic or ruthless personality could become solidified -alongside a socially affirmed trans identity which gets the only attention. We have effectively neglected the high risk side effect that transgenrism is having on kids: it is having a devastating effect on their personality development.

I absolutely loved your post!! Hits home with me! Must mean I’m transroyal, too! Unbelievable society we live in. Let’s all lie to our children. Even though science/biology proves differently. Ridiculous. Power to the parents who stand up for TRUTH. Not fantasy.
