I hear so much grace between the lines. A look at the Bigger Picture. A realization that there is more to life than what we know on this earthly realm.

Prayers for your family.

A lot of PITT stories bring up tears and several emotions. This one had me sobbing. You so eloquently found words for my feelings about the name.

Such an interesting idea I had never really considered. Of course people will be their true, God-created, selves upon death. The Orthodox Church teaches that the raw presence of Jesus burns away all falsehood (similar to the Catholic purgatory but less pain and more love), so that gaze will, of course, burn away the falsehood of someone's phony gender identity.

Great encouragement. Great reminder for all the rest of us to try to see people who are so confused as to mutilate themselves the way God sees them. Because we will also be put under the gaze of Christ, and He will burn away our judgements, our slights, our anger, our hatred, our selfishness, and our lack of mercy.

Absolutely loved this. Really captures the sweet, innocent bond we all share with our precious children, and the wretched horrific nightmare that we go through when they are taken from us and thrown into an evil hole
