I will give it a look. Thanks. Canada is worst because is more like a socialist country ( I have friends there), not much spiritual upbringing and yes I am talking about religion, not new age spirituality that is diabolical in essence.

But I don't like the title of your group "Parents for Choice"???? First in the States the term Choice is tighty related with abortion, the killing of human beings in an early stage, including the killing of girls (gender violence). And what it is the choice you are talking about? Choice for a different school, choice of the parents to be more involved in the curriculum, choice of the students to not participate in sex education, choice of be a transgender or not, choice of the parents to accept this ideology or not? The term choice is vague, I would change the word choice or add a word that clarifies but I was thinking about and really no words I found that goes with choice that will clarify, Parents for choice of opposing transgender agenda? It is too twisted. Parents against transgenderism is very clear P.A.T. League for the children defense L.F.T.Ch.D or Parents for the truth P.F.T.T. The word Choice leave a door open, the sense we have another choice, we do not have any. Transgenderism is a synthoms of a sick confused society, a mental disorder that has to be treated like that and that's all because there are not choices, men cannot be women neither vice versa, the only choice parents have is to claim the reality of things, say the truth, not choice, if it would be a choice that means that we can lie as also a choice. Do I lie or I say the truth, biological trues in this case? Choice is what our transgender have, do I choose to be a man or a woman, or a cat or a bike? Choice is the main problem here.

I am glad that "furrys" were mentioned in this article. This movement sucked my daughter into the alphabet cult along with anime. These things may seem innocuous to some parents but they are very creepy and push this agenda.

I'm not sure who to ask, but my nephew mentioned that he shaves all his hair (except his head) every day, taking about 30 mins a day. His mother also mentioned that he has started wearing nylons at times. Does this signal that he's at risk of gender dysphoria?

The shaving of all the hair except the head does seem to be shared by many of the boys with gender dysphoria (I have heard, more often when under stress).

My son started shaving everywhere 2 years ago age 15 and wearing nylons. He says he wants to be a girl. This came out of the blue. He was always such a typical boy. He spends alot of time online talking to teens who have introduced him to gender dysphoria. The docters in charged don't know what they are doing. They just go along making money out of this and reuining lives. I am hoping it is a faze and he'll come to his senses but he is autistic also which means in gets really engrossed and obsessed with things. I am currently seeking help from Genspect.

Teachers aren't just indoctrinated with gender woo. They're also forced to participate in DEI sessions, struggle sessions about race (at these sessions if you're white you're told you need to sit quietly and only LISTEN and not SPEAK BECAUSE OF YOUR WHITE PRIVILEGE for two hours. Can you imagine? My cousin in a teacher in CA and she's told me about some of this. I asked her what she did. She said she sat there. Why didn't she get up and say I'll be back when the 2 hours are up since none of this is about me, is beyond me. Getting along to go along is a huge part of the problem. If every single white person in that conference had stood up when they heard the presenter make that statement and left, things would be very different in our world.

Remember that teachers have been indoctrinated too, by being forced to attend training after training where the pressure to cheer on gender-woo is intense. US blue states like Massachusetts have the ideology baked in to policy and law at this point. Kudos for emphasizing running for the school board and pressuring pols. This tide won't be turned without concerted efforts from all sides. Thank you for your advocacy!

This is the state department of ed training site that promotes educating young children about gender. Paid for by Massachusetts taxpayers (most of whom would not agree):

I tried to determine if this curriculum is provided by the "non-profit" Advocates For Youth. In the state of California, they right the standards and ALSO provide the curriculum. I would like to see this radical group lose their non-profit status. They are radical and their goals are contrary to educating a population towards overall health and wellness.

For the record:

🔺️The term "transgender" was first coined in 1965 by John F. Oliven to describe individuals who felt that their gender identity was different from their observated sex, gaining wider use by the 1990s.

Oliven likely left Europe during or shortly after the rise of Nazi Germany (1933–1938). I think this an interesting fact.

🔺️"Gender-affirming" surgeries began in the early 20th century, with notable cases in the 1930s (e.g., Lili Elbe), but modern procedures like vaginoplasty and phalloplasty emerged in the 1950s (e.g., Christine Jorgensen). These surgeries became more standardized and accessible by the 1960s-1980s.

🌊🌊🌊Flood gates open:

➡️ In 2013, the mental health establishment, led by the American Psychiatric Association’s DSM-5, caved to progressive pressure and ditched "Gender Identity Disorder" for "Gender Dysphoria."

➡️This wasn’t just a word swap—it signaled a takeover by the affirming care model, which pushes the idea that kids as young as preschoolers should be encouraged to embrace transgender identities instead of digging into what might really be going on, like depression, anxiety, or family issues.

➡️ Before this, therapists often took a common-sense approach: explore the root causes of a kid’s confusion, don’t rush to label them as "trans." But the DSM-5, egged on by activist groups and WPATH’s 2012 playbook, flipped the script, making it seem like questioning a kid’s gender identity was backward or harmful.

➡️ For kids under 18, this meant a green light for counselors and doctors to fast-track social transitions—new names, pronouns, even dressing differently—without enough scrutiny of underlying problems.

➡️Teens could get puberty blockers, sold as "reversible" despite spotty evidence, while parents were often sidelined, told to affirm or risk being called transphobes or told "would you rather have a dead son or an alive daughter."

➡️ The old way—helping kids work through mental health struggles first—wasn’t banned, but it got drowned out by a one-size-fits-all push to affirm gender identity, no questions asked. By 2013, the left’s cultural grip on medicine meant traditional values—like protecting kids from irreversible choices or respecting family authority—were losing ground fast.

💥Per Grok, this change resulted in a 450% increase in the number of "trans identifying" young people in the United States from 2013 to date. This is an estimate because data has been throttled, made unavailable, or not captured. My gut tells me it is way higher.

There will be many more.

"Trans Euphoria (TE)" is similar to the "Pink Cloud (PC)" in Alcoholics Anonymous. Both are temporary once real life sets in. However, TE often results in significant bodily harm, whereas PC can lead to a healthy body if sobriety is maintained through effort and addressing the underlying issues that led to drinking. The info about the change in the DSM is the most chilling part, because it was very purposefully done. And most people -- at least pre-Covid -- trusted physicians implicitly. Modern society has been indoctrinated into believing that questioning a physician is, for all intents and purposes, heresy. And therein lies the issue: both medicine in general and gender ideology have basically become orthodoxies/religions. Facts are irrelevant and often harmful. Practitioners expect non-believers to convert or face the consequences and feel righteous in doling out said consequences. This is why you cannot have a rational discussion with many transgender folks.

Schools aren't "treating" gender dysphoric kids -- they are manufacturing them! There is NO WAY it would ever occur to all these young people that they were "born in the wrong body" and are actually a member of the opposite sex, without this ideology being presented to them. They are vulnerable to it, because they're at an emotionally fraught stage of development. But if they wouldn't feel it on their own, innately -- it is NOT real!

Contact your school boards, teachers, politicians and legislators. And keep contacting them. Get involved in civic groups. This is even more true if you live in a liberal area where schools and politicians support basically giving hormones and surgeries to kids without regulation. These politicians and organizations get a lot of pressure from activist groups that push for unrestricted hormones and surgeries. They need to hear from families affected by this. We all tend to post to social media forums like this one, and that’s understandable. But the most effective thing if we’re ever going to make change happen is to write our representatives: local, state, provincial and national. Make them hear you.

Dr Grossman also has a section at the end of her book about communications with schools that is very good.

Trouble hits quickly though when I have brought up any meaningful point with the school. I become the identified problem (and fast) instead of the actual problem being named.

Transactional Analysis is a very useful approach and it is unfortunate that its popularity waned after the Seventies.

I agree that the gender ideology may be the primary factor contributing to the explosion of adolescent "gender dysphoria" cases, but in my clinical experience, the improvement in quality of "gender reassignment surgeries" came first. The first wave of "gender questioning" and cross dressing men who sought psychological services during the Nineties were typically not talking about the gender ideology that exists today. Most of them had no contact with gender activists, and most of them were secretive and ashamed of their AGP practices. What brought them in increasing numbers to mental health professionals was primarily their fascination with gender surgeries. Psychological evaluations and participation in psychotherapy were required by the Harry Benjamin standards of care to obtain access to those procedures, which for many of the patients was the only reason for contacting a mental health professional.

Sadly, the most common "gender surgery" now is the amputation of both healthy breasts in teens and young women which is quick, easy, and lucrative for the "medical" world. One cannot really blame that on AGP fetishists any longer...

Yep - "I agree that the gender ideology may be the primary factor contributing to the explosion of adolescent "gender dysphoria" cases, but in my clinical experience, the improvement in quality of "gender reassignment surgeries" came first." And it was men.

The explosion in girls and young women has to do with the ideology. Otherwise, they'd be something more like "uncomfortable" in some way - for a few years. That might have been that.

Too bad the mental health services have served us so badly in general. I am really at the point where I think ALL pharmaceutical and surgical practices related to "gender" need to be ended. Or, at the very least the "patient" ought to be at least 35 and pay for it entirely himself - preferably in Brazil or some such place where they once went.

Fetish should not be celebrated as an Identity.

And, I think society would be better off if we brought back shame - for instance shame on the medical community. Shame is an indicator that someone is doing something wrong - like amputating healthy body parts or playing with a healthy balanced endocrine system.

Absolutely true! Pride has no meaning if shame doesn’t. The betrayal of our professional ethics codes by the organizations that crafted those codes (and that used to enforce them) is a crime that should have serious consequences. I hope to see some of those consequences come home to roost soon!
