I agree with you that same-sex attracted teenagers probably make up a minority of trans-identified teenagers. However, I don't think they're a "teeny tiny small" minority. You're probably familiar with Tavistock, the central NHS gender clinic for minors in the UK. In 2019, several doctors left Tavistock due to a crisis of conscience and went public with their concerns; one of those concerns was that they were transitioning many homosexual teens—especially lesbians—who were bullied by their peers or whose families would rather have a straight son than a gay daughter. Apparently there was a dark joke among the staff that eventually there wouldn't be any gay people left at all.
(Of course, I can’t say anything about your daughter one way or the other, but . . . is she involved in fandom? My intuition is that this is probably the single biggest risk factor for trans-identification among teenage girls.)
You are, of course, at liberty to consider gay people "perverts"—I have no wish to abridge your freedom of thought or speech—but as I am a lesbian, there is no way for the disagreement to be a respectful one.
