It seems that your appreciation for Trump’s executive order stems from personal experience—specifically, how trans ideology has affected your own family. I can understand why this issue resonates deeply with you. However, I find it contradictory to support abortion rights while opposing transgender ideology.
At its core, both abortion and transgender ideology stem from a rejection of natural law. Abortion denies the inherent right to life, while transgender ideology denies biological reality. If one believes it is acceptable to terminate a child in the womb, why should it suddenly be a problem if that same child—had they been allowed to live—later becomes a victim of gender ideology? The underlying issue in both cases is the rejection of objective truth about human nature.
To be consistent, one cannot uphold natural law in one area while discarding it in another. If life and biological reality matter, they must matter at every stage.
Why am I writing this? Because amongst all you’ve written and I appreciate, this part I cannot overlook:

I held my nose and voted Biden even though there were numerous outstanding women the party could have gotten behind, but like what they did with Hillary, they refused to champion a female candidate and instead chose another old white guy. When he ignored his opportunity to protect the rights of women and girls and even began dismantling all the protections we worked so hard to get into place in the 1970's Women's Liberation Movement, I was done. His pandering to Dylan Mulvaney by inviting him to the White House as a "brave girl" sealed the deal.
We are in for a rocky 4 years, I have no doubt. However, since the hill I was willing to die on was stopping the mutilation and sterilization of our children and restoring the reality of the sex binary to protect the rights and safety of women and girls, I am relieved and encouraged for what has happened in that regard so far. Will it be worth the trade off? We don't know yet what chaos may unfold. But we know it's coming. Will saving Title Nine, getting men out of women's prison cells and locker rooms and sports and homeless shelters and bathrooms be worth it?
And the most heinous of all... stopping the mutilation and chemical castration of our children? I know what answer I came to. I am still hopeful it was the right one. And if it wasn't, I hope that whatever else happens, we will come out the other end as a stronger and reinvigorated country. May it be so.
