Tiger Lily...it's hard to have a linear discussion when you and others continue to conflate the meaning of one word/term with something different. It reveals your casual grasp of the existential topic. Changing the APPEARANCE of physical anatomy IS NOT the same as changing physical or, if you will, biological sex. It's hard to respond to what your understanding is, when it appears that you don't fully understand that different words have different meanings.

People modify their physical appearance all the time, and yes, sometimes that includes medical or cosmetic surgery. Your opposition to this is very specific, and it appears to be more about anti-trans ideology.

If you knew anything about this process, you would know that both phalloplasty and vaginoplasty have high rates of post-operative ability to enjoy sexual pleasure. Is it 100%? Of course not. Chemotherapy isn't 100% either, but we don't ban it. Satisfaction with nose jobs, or face peels isn't 100% either. Heck...satisfaction with the effects of Viagra isn't 100%. I don't see any men (or their partners) calling for a ban on that.

I read the Reddit r/detrans feed. I also read the Reddit r/actual_detrans feed. You should do both.

You think "detrans" means not being trans anymore, when for most people retransitioning is far more complex than that. But that complexity doesn't serve your ideological objective, which is, in the words of Michael Knowles, "eradication of transgender ideology", even though there is no such thing as "transgender ideology." Y'all made that up.

Jenn, you have a very callous and casual attitude about the misery that the families are going through and writing about on this substack. As well as the very real confusion and pain the detransioners are going though. You're also making a lot of assumptions about my understanding and it appears you are doing so to fit your own agenda about this sad and disturbing cult. You are obviously part of the problem and should not be commenting on this substack.
