By writing, or speaking to anyone who will listen. Family and friends have pulled away, they don’t want to hear, they want to be allies, to be “kind,” without realizing how cruel that is. And by encouraging others who are in the same boat. We have to keep rowing, we can’t grow weary, so we must encourage one another along the way as well. And by remembering to take care of myself, too, because I’m battle worn and discouraged at times.
As bad as what is being done to children is, there is for me an even deeper and more disturbing reason why the trans agenda should terrify us: it is pushing a lie. Men and women cannot change their sex. Period. If they can get people to believe this, and double down on this, and persecute and punish others for not going along with this, all is lost. They are pushing people not to trust their senses, their instincts. If you are wondering where all this is headed --- or are you even there yet? You probably are too distracted by the mutilation of young bodies and the ruin of young lives, which is understandable. This is where it is headed: this is a long, slow march toward the acceptance and legalization of pedophilia. How much of a leap is it to say that children can have sex lives, when "we" are already saying that they can choose their sex? If biology doesn't matter, then age doesn't matter. Because age is reflected in biology. If it's all how you feel, than why not allow a kid to "feel" older. This is a complete shit show that is ruining civilization.

She has an excellent (and depressing) piece entitled "Next Step in the War on Kids." It might interest you because she touches on how the trans age movement is dovetailing with the transing of children, both with the ultimate goal of allowing lustful adults to get their greedy paws on children to exploit them sexually.
Yes. The truth matters and the ignorant willingness to push truth aside in favor of feelings, is a huge and dangerous departure from the wisdom developed over centuries of human learning and culture. We are literally trying on human life to see if we AGREE with the way it truly is. Like that's even possible? Monumental pride.
If "we" decide we are going to embrace and enforce lies, we should be very afraid of the lies coming down the pike. "The sky is red" might be at most annoying, but "children are vibrant beings capable of enjoying and consenting to sex" is a tad more problematic to most of us. I was just running errands and caught the tail end of a story on NPR that mentioned the "preoccupation of the right with 'gender affirming care.'" As if it's a curious obsession some of us have, like checking the stove ten times before you leave the house.
To be clear, I'm not right wing by any stretch. But tonight the detrans reddit has an RIP up for a 23 year old who died after "bottom surgery" and was autistic. He had horrible complications. I am horrified that the cheerful sounding "affirmative care" really means slow suicide by torture for far too many.
The situation is portrayed as left right but that's really institutional, not individuals. Institutions are totally on board with the activist agenda, individuals are not so much.
I am sure you know how Canada is just wild about euthanasia right now. Got a hang nail? Your toast fell butter down onto the floor? Euthanasia! But when a trans person wanted to be allowed to die b/c he was living in excruciating pain from his surgery, he was denied. I have no doubt that the authorities do not want the trans agenda to face the bad publicity that would cause.

It’s tough to keep going & hard to temper our feelings around others. I experience huge surges of optimism with each story like ‘this is it, this is the one’. But it is a blip in other people’s lives. News is at the forefront of our minds because we live with it every day, we are exhausted, we want it to be over.

Parents are literally brainwashed when their children say they’re transgender. Those professionals start pounding them with your kid is gonna kill themselves and you have to affirm them right now or horrible things will happen. So parents become afraid I think and they don’t investigate further. That’s the problem they go along with it, keeping it going

I'm hopeful that in five year's time, we will look at this moment of trans craziness, and see, in the words of Hunter S. Thompson (in a different context) "...the high-water mark -- that place where the wave finally broke and rolled back."
I have been saying (and praying for) something similar. I hope a decade from now, we'll be watching a documentary on "The Rainbow Brigade" on Netflix or Hulu. I hope we look back on the Trans Craze in awestruck wonder in the same way we now look at the Satanic Panic of the 80s (daycare centers, etc...)
