"I’m traveling this hellish road into uncharted territory without most of my old comforts, glancing at the rearview mirror to see my previous world get smaller and farther away, and not bothering to wave goodbye."

I especially like the part about "not bothering to wave goodbye". I've had to do that with a number of people and institutions. Our daughters matter more. - LM

We’re you completely unaware of the history of Planned Parenthood? Their beginnings as a racist eugenics mission focused on eradicating ‘lesser’ black, brown, and other ‘low IQ elements’? Do you know who Margaret Sanger was? Honestly, I find it hard to read any further when someone claims PP has been a paradigm of ‘women’s health’. Pardon the French - but bullshit!

I've said it for ages now, the right haven't changed but sadly the left are moving further and further away from the centre.

The “Other” category jumped from roughly 16,000 in 2021 to a staggering 256,000 in 2022 - how frightening is this? Our world is in trouble. I wonder what the number will be for 2023? Doubled? Tripled?

I should add on that Planned Parenthood has an online sex ed program which I took nearing the end of my senior year in high school, which is chock full of gender ideology. Shocker.

“I believed that Planned Parenthood’s mission was lifesaving healthcare for women who didn’t have access to breast cancer screening, prenatal/gynecological care, and yes, abortions.”

Planned Parenthood’s “breast cancer screening” basically consists of referring women elsewhere, considering they don’t do mammograms. Most locations don’t do any prenatal care, and if they do any, women can’t keep using them for the entire pregnancy. (No one wants a heavily pregnant woman in the same waiting room as a woman scheduled for an abortion.) They’ll refer elsewhere, but not even their employees would claim the organization was a good source of prenatal care.

The idea of Planned Parenthood’s mission being breast cancer screenings and prenatal care is like saying a gas station’s mission is to sell Vanilla Coke. Can you find Vanilla Coke in a gas station? Maybe on occasion. But the gas station’s purpose is to sell gas. Planned Parenthood’s main purpose is birth control, STD testing/treatment, abortion - with abortion providing a large chunk of their income - and now transgender hormone treatments.

It's no coincidence that PP is now cheerily promoting gender-altering (I refuse to call it affirming) "care" now that abortion has been outlawed in many locations. They have to keep patients coming through their doors to avoid losing funding and laying off employees. They have to keep their revenue stream up somehow, after recently losing such a large portion of it.

So well written- thank you! PP is pure evil. They also show kids videos that are highly manipulative with a "trans man" YouTube superstar. SHE has a British accent and sits in a fun yellow Ikea chair while convincing youngsters on the safety of wrong sex hormones! Just look how manly SHE looks and how happy SHE is! SHE goes on to disparage books like "Irreversible Damage" and the scientific findings of Lisa Littman. SHE explains how false all the statistics and research are in a such peppy way-- how can they not believe HER?! After one half-hour video on the safety of poisonous hormones, the eager young person is absolutely convinced that they NEED to do this! The manipulation is astounding and just pure evil in my humble opinion!!

Planned Parenthood was already evil in my opinion for the hidden holocaust of abortion. Watch the videos at abortionproceduers.com to see the brutal techniques used in ending life in the womb. Now add to that their willingness to confuse and medicalize people, including minors, in order to increase their revenue. Planned Parenthood cares about one thing more than anything else, profit.

It is indeed shocking what has become of Planned Parenthood. I am embarrassed to have made a donation to them no more than six years ago...

Bravo, once again. I wish this level of dry and black wit was there in the soulless world of the trans activists. In fact, anything to show that they were humans, capable of thinking rationally and independently.

Planned Parenthood has always been and is even now more evil.

Started by Margaret Sanger with the goal of sterilization of blacks and mentally deficient, she was a big promoter of eugenics. Evil.

Abortion is regularly used as birth control and PP makes a fortune off of it including selling baby body parts.

To me it is not surprise whatsoever that they are now leaders in gender affirmation "care" medicalization. Whatever it takes to destroy the family.

PP is evil to its core. Please see them for what they truly are.

Jeez this is amazing. And really not articulated very often. I still consider myself a classic sort of old school liberal, but I feel envy towards conservatives on this issue. They usually still have each other even after someone comes out as critical of self-ID gender spirits for children, and the horror show that can easily follow after a claim of 'but my gender spirits' has been tabled by your child. My mother has sort of reluctantly agreed not to use the hellish LGBTQIA+ acronym anymore, but I had to get upset with her before she finally conceded the point. My entire family is trans affirming I believe. My two younger sisters, my mother suggested I not even mention my views to them. We are all still close, but I struggle with knowing they are on the side of this satanic shit. I plan on bringing up a few points with my parents while I am home in vacation next week. Common sense liberals have it really hard at this moment in time. It sucks.

This new approach was explained to me in 2018 at Netroots Nation in New Orleans. The 8 AM reproductive rights panel had a weirdly vague title and description in the program. I showed up a minute late, but keenly interested to learn what the plan for defending women's rights was, with RvW under threat like never before.

The answer, I learned, was pronouns. And letters for hormones and surgeries. We only needed to give up all of our essentialist language ("no uterus, no opinion") and feminist symbols (my associates were purging the Venus symbol from their book covers) and like magic, the cisheteropatriarchy would be defeated and abortions would become free for all, forever.

Then, a six foot black man in a wig launched into a Sojourner Truth "ain't I a woman" speech. He said that stem cells and uterus transplants automagically mean that he might need an abortion, one day. Hooray! Men need abortions, too!

I got up. I walked out. I left the conference center and found the margarita bar in the adjacent mall. I ordered the largest, most alcoholic drink they had and consumed the entire thing while I planned my exit from Democratic/"progressive" political activism.

I do believe there's a very small percentage of people who are not clear on their sex. I believe that the historical percentage of a miniscule amount is accurate. To turn this into a culture war issue where we mutilate and spay and neuter kids is just nuts.

Ambiguous genitalia occur once in every 5500 births. They are a tiny subset of so-called "intersex" conditions, which are all sex-based. A person must be male to have Klinefelter's or female to have Turner's. Disorders of sexual development (DSDs) are all inimical to reproduction and some are deadly if untreated. The phrase "assigned male/female at birth" has been appropriated from their specific and narrow medical language to advance an agenda that does nothing for them. People with DSDs object to their conditions being politicized and used against women and children. Any time you see the letter "I" being invoked to excuse the trans cult, you are witnessing a kind of Blackface. It is repugnant, like people pretending to have cancer so they can fundraise.

And yet, a category of pseudo-scientific writing has arisen to promote this new-and-improved awareness that, based on the existence of DSDs, sex is not binary, but a spectrum. These books and articles look like actual science because they have tables, graphs, and large words in them. Smart, science-minded people who don't know better are easily fooled by them. PhD professors like evolutionary biologist Colin Wright are kicked out of the academy for refusing to teach this woke nonsense.

Worst of all, scientific publications like Nature and Scientific American legitimate this stuff:

https://www.nature.com/articles/518288a

https://blogs.scientificamerican.com/sa-visual/visualizing-sex-as-a-spectrum/

I, as an astronomy buff, am eagerly awaiting "Visualizing the Dimensions of the Flat Earth" in an upcoming edition of Astronomy Now.
