I am a mom and I’ve been in this transgender nightmare with my daughter for nine years. It started in 2015 when she was 13 years old and just beginning the eighth grade.
This makes me so angry. What AAP is doing violates every principal of medical ethics but they don’t work for other Pediatricians or For kids and their parents. AAP is a part of the “New Order of Barbarians” as was documented by Dr. Day at the Pittsburg Academic Meeting when he listened to Dr. Lawrence Dunigan explain how pediatrics would change. I was on AAP’s National Child Abuse and Neglect, Early Child Brain Development, Advocacy National Committees. And I was on my State’s Developmental Behavioral Peds group. If you feel confused like you’re not sure if this is all wrong, that’s understandable, the AAP is gaslighting us all. Their disregard and disrespect for parents, patients and pediatricians alike isn’t appropriate for an organization dedicated to the health of Peds patients but it is appropriate if you’re dedicated to the transformation that places like the WEF have envisioned for our society. I’m so sorry. I’m not surprised at all that AAP didn’t respond. They know they don’t have to.

Such an excellent letter! It's disheartening to see how many of us have seen nearly the exact same path to an ROGD kid getting hormones from an affirmation-only medical system. I wouldn't believe this could happen if I weren't living it.
This could be our story, with a few modifications to the list of other mental health issues, and the fact that we live in Europe. You described the chain of events very well, in a swift, readable style. Thank you.
Leftists who have designed this as a form of post-birth ‘abortion’ to prevent the next generation. When they have failed to kill you in the womb, they will then kill your ability to reproduce! All that really happens is the kids and adults become spayed or neutered, then they will find it very difficult to find any kind of Life Partner. Their rates of SUICIDE are greatly increased! It is gendercide! No longer male or female! You become a castrated eunuch, or the female equivalent of a eunuch!

There is nothing anyone could tell me that would convince me that "trans kids" actually exist. These are no more than children who have been groomed to accept that all of their problems are due to them not realizing they were "born in the wrong body" (sic). Does Therapy First believe there are some children who ARE born in the wrong body? They might do therapy first and medicalization would be delayed if they believe that. There needs to be therapists who don’t believe in the insane idea that a child is the wrong sex. I would think that if they do they would be active in speaking up for parents who don’t believe in the cult of trans.
Their website looked interesting, but some of the therapists are gay or trans. This is all so confusing…can’t get a straight answer. And it could be considered the illegal “conversion therapy”.
Brilliant brilliant letter and impossibly brave! Shame on the AAP! Are we now in a world where a contagious idea that is dangerous is instantly mainstreamed by our medical professionals? The answer is apparently Yes.
Of course they didn’t answer your letter;it’s too humiliating for them to admit that they have collaborated with an abusive, unscientific protocol. Careers will be ruined. Disgrace is the only outcome for them. They have been bamboozled by activists and have encouraged harmful therapies. Yes, they will have to be forced to stop. They are just stonewalling before the inevitable fall. Heads will fall and things will get messy. They just aren’t ready to admit it yet. Kudos to you and your husband for protecting your daughter.
