My sweet daughter has been harmed too. My prayers to all the hurting parents and families. It is an indescribable pain to endure.

Thank you for speaking up on behalf of all of us parents who have lost our children just as you have said it. The society in which we live is totally insane.

This is a scandal of epic proportions which has engulfed the medical, psychological, and educational professions. Why none of these professions has shown any discernment is beyond belief.

It’s ironic that Trump’s CDC headed by a conspiratorial idiot is the major national institution telling the truth about “gender affirming care” in the United States and bringing us in line with the recent consensus in the UK and Northern Europe on stopping the chemical and surgical mutilation of children.

What conspiracy are you speaking of?

Ironic doesn't begin to cover it.

Meanwhile, Trump is firing women in top positions in the military and insulting women reporters as rudely as possible. And his Party is doing everything they can to insert the government between a woman and the inside of her own body (remember, they call themselves the Party of "small government"--apparently only for men, as they're Big Government against girls and women aaaaall the way).

The fact is that the Democratic National Committee sold our entire Party to a tiny handful of woman-hating billionaire men, including Canadian Conservative Robert Quartermain and long-time Republican billionaire donor James Pritzker.

*The DNC sold our Party to a woman-hating Republican.*

Let that sink in.

I am so sorry. The same thing happened with us at the school. And she’s made an appointment to start hormones.

The grief is all consuming and so lonely. I really feel for you because no one except folks like us know what this feels like. Death by a thousand cuts.

I wish I had advice to give but I’m currently trying to compartmentalize my pain because people around me are tired of hearing about it.

I tried to go to my representative at the time about it (and this is in TX) but no one cared.

May I ask which part of Texas you live in? I live in Texas also and this has happened to me as well. I thought our Governor was against allowing our children to be called a different names in public schools but not so where I reside.

I am a heartbroken to hear of your suffering. Can you intercept her drugs or have fakes made and replace them? My daughter identified as trans for about 18 months and I only feared what you are experiencing, The fear broke my heart and still haunts me today so I cannot imagine your pain now. This needs to stop. Hold the line and pray your daughter returns. Please Dear God 🙏

I am very sorry for you and your family.

Why are some schools allowed to get away with this? Why don’t parents and grandparents show up at the local school board, and their village, town and city board meetings to compel answers as to why this is permitted to happen? We are paying for these services and deserve answers to our questions and some consideration for our concerns. That a government funded entity could behave in such a cavalier way is beyond acceptable.

Thank you for speaking up to the politicians. Sometimes I feel hopeless to make any dent in the corruption. But when I hear that good people are actively pushing for justice, i feel strengthened in my own struggles.

My understanding is that NY State has law providing for its teachers to be trained to assist students with gender or sexuality questions. They are not supposed to incorporate this into the classroom as curriculum. Several years ago a local middle school did cross the line separating training and instruction. Some local parents were upset and made issue at the next school board meeting. It was not pleasant. But that is beside the point. We owe this to our kids, and ourselves. The State DOE’s should not be doing this unchallenged.

This happened to us in 2017-18, although our daughter desisted quickly, thank goodness.

I have written to my state representatives and senators (Ds and Rs), I have blown the hair back on a state rep who doorstepped me before her last re-election attempt, I have written to both my U.S. senators (Democrats both), I have written to my congresswoman/man (D and R). No one but Republicans will answer an email or pick up the phone. The Democrats don't want to hear about the damage to families and kids. They're just shoving their fingers in their ears and screaming "LALALA I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!!"

So I, a radical feminist for most of my life, am now voting straight Republican until this nonsense ends.

Yes. I am so glad for you that your daughter desisted. I wish I could say the same.

I was never a radical anything, was an Independent in the past - voting for Ds and Rs. No More! I think a lot of D politicians parrot crazy trans ideology lines but have no idea what they are talking about and have no interest in finding out.

Of course, there are the ones who have transed their own small children. I think that is especially a problem with biased judges who do not recuse themselves in cases related to GI - and especially custody.
