Cass was a successful battle, and it's great that UK teenagers aren't being experimented on anymore -- but those gains are at risk until the larger issue of transgenderism is resolved in favor of sanity. Destransitioners whom I continually check in with via Reddit (there is a lot of support for each other and also a lot of pain, sadness, terror and confusion as to 1. Why they did this in the first place (some are very self aware and some seem so lost). 2. Their deep regret as to how their missteps have affected their loved ones and how ashamed some of them are for believing the lies. 3. Acceptance of their disfigurements but anxiety about how to have a relationship with another person with those “red flags” displaying their past and or current mental dissonance. I really hope my daughter realises and moves through this stage of her life to a better, healthier, happier, realistic future free of all this bullshit but she is a stubborn little beggar and far from stupid so there’s hope. All I can do is let her discover the truth for herself and continue to love her and admire her for the positive attributes she possesses of which there are many. Uh oh! Here come the tears again!
It’s got to speed up! My daughter is 19 now and has been on testosterone for 6 months now. She says she is happy with her “transness”and with who she is. I pray she won’t proceed to surgery but I just don’t know. She has returned to her Therapist to deal with “her”Autism and ADD (the more labels the better it seems) as she wants to learn to “goal set” which sounds positive but again I don’t know. It’s certainly a journey, but the fantastic information from the exposure of the bogus WPATH and the excellent Cass review as well as the damaged but very brave
I honestly feel that the "therapists" are part of the predator class. In my opinion, secular therapists are helping to fuel this mental illness and attach labels to these young people which leads to them being put on meds/hormones etc..
In that way it’s so similar to the “satanic panic” of the 80s/90s in the US. The whole “recovered memory” thing which has been totally debunked was pushed by therapists. They destroyed so many families. In fact a woman called Diane Erinshaft literally wrote the book on that nonsense, faced no consequences for her complete negligence and arrogance, and is now a prominent promoter of “gender affirming care” (sex denying harm). It is enraging that she is allowed to continue harming people in a new way with impunity.

I am also in England with a young adult son who thinks taking hormones will improve his mental health. I am desperate to see a review into adult gender services and have written to my MP and the Health Secretary about the scandalous lack of evidence that "gender medicine" is based on. I really hope that any change in government doesn't de-rail some of the progress we've seen. If this stuff was based on sound medical research then it wouldn't but, as we all know, it's based on ideology and identity politics.

There was a piece in the telegraph yesterday about early-onset menopause which trans men (ie women) are suffering from in their 20s after years on testosterone. This whole vile cult makes me incandescent with anger at these butchering doctors & their handmaids in therapy & the media.
Every Body has the right to develop to its natural adult status in as much as health as possible.
First do no harm. Hubristic doctors are a problem over and over and over in our societies throughout history. Because of "technology" that has advanced hormone use and surgeries we are now plagued by medical hubris that is of unprecedented dangerousness.
