I am always leery these days when a smaller group is merged with a larger one. I read over the Genspect page and I have mixed feelings. Some of their stuff is good and some is not so good. They seem to support the language of the trans movement even thought they disagree with it. I would encourage everyone to read up on them and make your own decisions.
They DO NOT support the language of the trans movement. The best way to understand Genspect is by watching Gender: A Wider Lens podcast on YouTube, where you can see Stella O’Malley, Genspect founder, and Sasha Ayad, both therapists, in discussions with de-transitioners, therapists who do not support the affirmative model, parents, and politicians who’ve bravely opposed trans ideology.
Also it is not correct to say Genspect came into existence only months ago! It’s been around now for half a decade at least! One thing they refuse to do however is speak in intensely politicized or abusive language. They recognize that as the result of now decades of this bad medicine there are thousands of people forced to live with choices they made before they understood their implications. Many of these people have been so altered that they cannot live convincingly as either sex—and yet they were sold a lie when they were too young to understand their implications consequences, and the adults in the room were either equally uninformed or deluded into accepting that this path was the morally correct path. But these parents and children are the victims and should not be demonized. Genspect exists to inform those considering transition about the dangers, while supporting those who’ve made irrevocable choices and must live with them. By all means do your homework—but don’t inject suspicion of an organization who has tirelessly committed itself to promoting the most accurate medical and scientific information to parents and children about the harms of transition, and was doing so when it was not at all politically expedient to do so. They are the good guys.
Wow, I did not say that Genspect came into existence only months ago, where did you get that from? Also I am allowed my own opinion and I told people to do their own research. We should all be suspect of any larger organization who partners with a smaller grass roots one that has been successful. PITT has been a great support to many families suffering from this attack on our children and I do not want to see it taken over by anyone. If Genspect is indeed a benevolent organization, time will tell. I just want people to be aware in this climate that it is possible that it is not.
I realized that yours is a response to an old post, and it’s that post that says Genspect is a “new” organization. I also agreed with your suggesting people do their own research, but wanted to provide what I know about Genspect. There’s now plenty of evidence to indicate exactly where Genspect falls in terms of its position on youth gender transition and I was encouraging everyone to watch all the episodes of Gender: A Wider Lens.
I don't know what post is old or new. I just saw this article on the PITT substack. Thank you for adding some information for people to find out more about this group.
I live in Minnesota and am in a church caught up in promoting trans ideology as part of their social justice work. I am preparing to call them out for their group think and suppression of open discussion. I can't imagine having lived through what y'all have. I am a mothet and a grandma and my heart aches for all who are suffering.
Thank you for all that you do. Thank you Genspect for supporting PITT. I pray that more and more groups will gather as one strong group so we can continue fighting the good fight.
But isn’t is unbelievable that parents wanting to talk about preventing their children from being harmed would come under attack. That anyone would seek to prevent parents from expressing their grief over losing their children. No one is telling anyone they have to read what we write.
More rank hypocrisy from the trans cult ….what about our “ lived experience “ and “ our truth “ and “ freedom to be our true selves “ and “ not hide what we really think “ and “ right to exist “ 🙄
Thank you. PITT, and thank you Genspect. I do not know how I could have coped the last few years without finding PITT. To hear other family members of those lost to this evil cult was a revelation and a blessing for me as a Grandma. Twelve years my family has been dealing with this cursed ideology. My husband and I did not know anything concerning "transgenderism" as he fought his final battle with cancer. Our youngest grandchild of our youngest son came to us with a handwritten book explaining how he didn't fit in as a triangle person in a square person world. My husband told our grandson, "Buddy, I do not begin to understand, but I will always love you." Now all these years later, Don has gone to be with Jesus, and "Buddy's" half-sister and half-brother have joined him in the insane fantasy, and the last I heard from the one remaining granddaughter who would talk with me told me her two teenaged daughters were now living as boys. How can anyone in today's world begin to believe anything about this nonsense is legitimate? Yet, here in one family, it is being played out, over and over. So. please speak out, let us keep telling our truth to all who will hear. My family has cut all ties with me, so I can just imagine the damage that is being done to once healthy bodies. I pray for my grandchildren and my great granddaughters to be shown reality, if they will not listen to me, maybe they will listen to you. I will continue to speak out as I can, support with all my heart, and pray without ceasing.
Please keep up the good work, PITT, Genspect, all the devoted and caring people who comprise our community (a community that absolutely no one wanted to join).
May God have mercy on us all, and may His justice reign.
Dear Indio, what a shocking and sad recounting of a great evil... deeply sorry for your many losses 💐 God bless you 🙏 You have seen an incredible turmoil play out in multiple homes 🏡🏘🌳 It's wrong what is being done and you are sane and reliable 🧭
Thinking of you a great deal this day 🙏 May the Creator strengthen and guide you 👣
This is very encouraging, and I am happy that PITT is being supported by Genspect. Thank you Genspect - you have been a guiding light in the darkest hours. Thank you to the founders of PITT for creating a safe place for us to learn, share and support each other. Thank you to the behind-the-scenes parents who read, edit, and publish these stories. Thank you to everyone who has written a story, thank you to everyone who reads these stories, and to those that leave a comment. We need each other and must continue to grow and let our voices be heard. We are the ones who have been deeply affected by this trans-cult because our families have been torn apart. We are the parents that have watched our children struggle, change, turn against us and then leave abruptly. We have children who do not speak to us, we have children who have died, and we have children who have returned to us. Together we are strong. We must not give up this fight, the future of all children depends on us winning this trans war. We must continue to have HOPE.
If they are legit It is a fantastic idea.

Genesis is so clear that God made male and female
Your church is grievously wrong
Feel free to tell them that this happy hippie male-attracted post-op tr𝕏nny agrees with you 100%
I don't seek approval ✔️ it is a mental disorder which needs curing
It is a spiritual illness ✔️
*Autoandrophobia can be cured with early intervention 🛋📝
*Autogynephilia can be managed and lived with 👔
(*being gay is also a spiritual illness)
Ms Bolton if they will not listen to a reasonable protest, then they are lost... ⛪️ 🧭 👣 🌳 🌲

Thank you
Hurrah! Excellent decision.
And never being behind a paywall is very important so that everyone interested can access the valuable information and these critical stories on PITT
(I wish some other gender-critical Substacks would sacrifice the fee for the sake of promoting the solid science about biological sex.)
So thankful for PITT and GenSpect! It is a comfort to know we are not alone.❤️
Thank you ! 🙏
Excellent ❤️
