There is damaging content on TikTok made by her cousin accusing her mother Abigail Martinez for not accepting her new identity as Andrew Martinez. The

cousin blaming her aunt for her suicide and trying to cash in now. It is devastating story. TikTok is very pro transgenderism and where all these kids get love bombs & affirmation. Need more detransitioning, & questioning transitioning people & content on TikTok.

I'm largely in step with the concerns expressed on PITT regarding the trans-mania that has swept (mostly) the English-speaking world.

But I find so many of the comments to be odious and mindlessly religious. I notice, too, that the overall trend in these pieces reflects a bias in favor of religious belief.

All should have freedom to their beliefs. But figuratively shouting at everyone that the answer to the trans madness is religion is only going to drive potential allies away.

In the end, there is no more objective evidence proving the existence of any deity than there is for a ridiculous assertion that "trans women are women."

Exactly. This movement should unite people who believe sex cannot be changed, and gender ideology is a terrible thing with terrible consequences for people, especially children, and that the imposition of it the first stage of an authoritarian regime. We are already there. So that's all we need to unite us. We don't start to talk about other factors, because there will be a million differences, and then the movement starts to divide itself and it consumes itself. No. We are united and we are millions and we fight this horror we face. When (if) we win, then each person will go his or her way, we no longer will be a united movement when the goal is reached.

Religion is not THE answer but it can certainly be one of the answers for some of the kids: I think at the core of it, any cult is a search for meaning and belonging and if we can replace trans cult with a non-harmful religion or some other meaning and purpose in life, that's great in my opinion. Also, religion brings comfort to many parents. I find this site a good mix of religious and non-religious people. I don't really see religious and non-religious people here being on different sides of the battle. I used to be pretty annoyed by religion (as in people telling me to have a blessed day) but mellowed down with age.

I can't find where I said that so don't have the context. It feels like you are targeting Lesbians when we have been the worst victims of the trans cult.

Where are you seeing numbers of Lesbians supporting this cult? And what "ruckus" and where? They already have everything. The most I see is passive support like including "T" in every group description. I don't see much fighting for the trans cult since they already are supported by the other het men and women and gay men. Since they are primarily het men, they are incredibly privileged and entitled and show it.

The Radical Lesbian Feminists I know around the world are fighting this mess and have from the beginning. (I have been since I was a teenager and was being sexually harassed, in 1968, by the man who later stalked me into the Lesbian community.) Most Lesbians fought it, but a few years ago got conned into thinking of "T" as victims and feel sorry for them. They don't seem to know about the murders and threats, or don't care. Some are just terrified to be targeted and ostracized from what remains of our community. When the men identifying as trans took over our Dyke March in SF, some women supported them, but I think that's changing. Certainly there are Lesbian groups in the US and UK saying "Get the L out" and "Get the LGB" out. I'm a Lesbian Separatist.

I am thinking of your story today, Labor Day and said a prayer for Abigail. What a horrific ordeal she had to endure! She lost her daughter when she declared she was trans, then lost her again through the court system, and then lost her a third and final time when she took her own life. My heart broke for this mother, the lost daughter and the rest of the family. We must make people accountable for harming our children - the school is to blame, RISE is to blame, and the failed court system is to blame. We must continue to tell this story until the wrong has been made right!

This story is so unbelievable and sad. How many hearts must be shattered before this evil is stopped? I pray my daughter will get out of the Transgender cult. Sadly the influences of the world have dominated and overpowered her with this madness. I’ve loved her since birth, these other monsters, they hate.

Is the World Overpopulated?

Too Crowded?

You can fit the entire population of the World in the State of Texas and still have everyone with their own 31-foot by 31-foot space all to themselves!

OK, now just…

HOW BIG IS TEXAS – HOW MANY SQUARE FEET ARE IN TEXAS?

“Texas includes 267,339 square miles, or 7.4% of the nation’s total area. To find out how many square feet are in the state of Texas, multiply 5280 x 5280 – (to find out how many square feet in a square mile), which equals 28,944,400 square feet. Then multiply that number by the number of square miles (28,944,400 x 267,339), which equals 7,737,966,951,600 square feet in the state of Texas.”

Now take that 7,737,966,951,600 (7.737,967 Trillion sq. ft.) number and divide it by the estimated World Population of 7,678,200,000 (7.678 Billion people) you could put everyone on Earth into the state of Texas and still have 1007 square feet per person, or you could fit them all into individual spaces that are squares of over 31 feet on each side.

The more people you have allows for more people to specialize their work. Think of a medical Specialist, they only work on one part of the body, versus a General Practitioner.

The less people you have means more people must generalize their work. Think of a self-sustaining farmer, they must do all the hundreds of various jobs of running the farm.

Yet the NWO Leftists want to reduce the world's population to just 500 million!

They should volunteer to go FIRST!

My sons are just-grown and they somehow avoided this. It's a little easier for boys. So I have a responsibility to try and help others. Two other women and I are setting up runs for school trustee seats in my city's civic election (faint hope of wins, but we can raise awareness) with a strong emphasis on trans ideology in the schools.

Today, another independent candidate and I went, hoping to get signatures from a church congregation (getting citizen signatures is first step to getting on the ballot). Thanks to a congregant, THE PARISH PRIEST gave us two shout-outs from the pulpit. Asked congregants to give signatures to the women (us!) standing outside after mass (!). They did! Huge boost.

I've tried to get signatures from strangers, and they're utterly, UTTERLY confused by the trans issue. ONLY the parents of school-age kids get it. And even then the parents need to be AWAKE.

So, we're all doing what we can. RIP young Yaeli Galdamez, whose life barely began.

(Edit: I'm not Catholic, or a churchgoer. This tragic insanity is making odd bedfellows. We can't keep losing our children. My heart is broken for this mother.)

The spells (of full-on trans training) need to be broken, and for truth to get out. IE, that kids don't want it or like it. (Sorry, not telling anyone here what they don't know.

This is so tragic. She looked like a stereotypically feminine girl, but then most girls who say they are transgender do. Perhaps she was wanting to look less "feminine" because the sexual harassment was too much. Or perhaps she was feeling in love with other girls, but instead of being encouraged to accept being a girl with such feelings, she was drawn into this terrible cult. If she wanted to get support even about not wanting to look like how girls are told to look, she would only have found the cult "LGBTQIA" etc, which is female-hating and Lesbian hating. No safe space for girls or young women. The men have taken over everything we built for girls and women's safety.

When a friend was 12 she went to her local "LGBTQ" center hoping for support. But the group for young Lesbians was run by a man in drag who claimed to be a transwoman. He told her she was a "transman" and should get surgery and hormones immediately. Luckily she didn't. But so many girls have no support. It sounds like her mother knew and tried her best.

There is no transgender anyone. It's all made up and is a female-hating cult from both sides. (No man can be a woman or Lesbian. No woman can be a man.) Thought of from a truly Feminist perspective, this cult is destroying what women have built for over 50 years. Like with other cults, they pretend only they know what young people are going through and make them afraid to get real support. Testosterone can have a horrific effect on girls' and women's minds as well as bodies.

Another part to this that I rarely see talked about is that many of these people claiming to be transgender are also sado-masochists. It's not just private activity, but a way of thinking and acting that fetishizes pain and humiliation. Looking back on the history of my Lesbian Feminist community, it was sado-masochists who brought not only their harmful fetishes and made them trendy, but also brought in the trans cult. And now it's accepted by the mainstream media and politicians.

How on earth did it go so fast with erasing girls and women into nothing? NPR and other media won't even refer to women or mothers, but say "pregnant people." This has to be stopped, but there is enormous money backing it.

Yes, so Lesbians are never allowed to say no to men. I am not surprised men try this ploy, but I am horrified that any Lesbian or woman supports these rapists. Not taking no for an answer is rape. These are men, clearly.

There is an excellent anthology, by Kitty Robinson, about young Lesbians being conned/raped in this way:

https://medium.com/@kittyit/you-told-me-you-were-different-an-anthology-of-harm-ab6d43debab5

And then Kitty's letter to Julie R. Enszer's about printing a letter by such a man who murdered his wife after she caught him wearing her clothes in Sinister Wisdom. Enszer then made an issue of Sinister women just for men who call themselves "transgender women." Just when we though it couldn't get crazier...

I just saw that one of our only spaces left, the Bay Area Lesbian Archives is showcasing Enszer, in spite of her betrayal of Lesbians and women.

Yes, the erasure of women and girls has to stop, along with the hateful indoctrination of same sex attracted and other vulnerable girls and young women. That Yaeli's mother was told to "Have a funeral for your daughter and adopt your son" was callous beyond belief.

It seems to me that Yaeli likely realised that she had made a monumental mistake with regards to the medicalized "transition". Where are the young girls who rejected their loving families in this manner expected to go when they realise that they made a huge mistake - first by pursuing the dragon of "transition", then running away from their loved ones and claiming abuse at the behest of an alphabet organisation? This organisation didn't care for Yaeli beyond pursuing their noxious agenda, and I humbly submit that Yaeli likely knew that.

I think you're right. It's such classic abuser tactics to isolate and cut the victims off from support. But another problem could be that the family, or some of it also was abusive. So escaping would feel like relief for many girls perhaps. There really needs to be a support system.

Expand full comment
Lida H.'s avatar

I'm not suggesting that there was never any tension in the house and of course, it is possible that there was some abuse or behaviour which was construed that way. I absolutely agree with you about the encouragement young people receive from the gender borg being a typical abuser tactic. There has been research conducted into whether those who disconnect from their family in the name of "gender" have actually been disavowed by their family which discovered that the disconnection was the other way around. IIRC, Jennifer Lahl wrote a piece about it for Psychology Today either last year or in late 2020 which was taken down by the publication after a mere in three hours up on the website due to abuse from TRAs. They're just that incredibly marginalised, huh?! /sarcasm

As you have alluded to, homophobia is really on the rise again (largely as a side-effect of trans ideology) and it's also possible that this poor girl was ashamed of her same sex attraction because of the religious beliefs of her family. It seems to me that we shall probably have to rebuild a true LGB movement from the grassroots up. The term "LGBTQ Community" really sets my teeth on edge because it's generally uttered in response to something that the "TQ+" have said/done which others find objectionable. The forced teaming is bringing the backlash the way of the LGB and I feel that it's unfair.

Yes, T and Q are NOT us, ever. My community was always Lesbian with some alliances with other women. Gay men hate us and bisexual women use us (who we love clearly is a choice, but we are also not allowed to say that.

It's more Lesbophobia since gay men don't get harassed like we do and have massive power, including their own communities, which we never had.
