We took our daughter off of our insurance when she began taking testosterone. We did not affirm, so why should we pay for insurance coverage that allows insurance to cover 'T' and mastectomies?

I would also like to do this. I was told by the health benefits people at my job, that I have to prove she has other insurance otherwise they will not remove her. I have to check more to see if this is true. I'm in NJ. A very blue state. What state are you in?
I am in Virginia. This was a few years ago, so it might have changed with the ACA. I would call my insurance company directly to find out how to go about doing this. If you Google, you will find quite a bit of info on this, but it's much better to get specific info by calling your insurance company and asking how to remove your 'child' from your policy.
