Welcome to the PITT weekly roundup where you’ll find a list of the week’s postings along with links to some of our favorite books, videos, social media, and podcasts. Please continue the fight against the harms of gender ideology by sharing.
Access to all PITT content is free. Our objective is to inform the public of the devastating impact of gender ideology on families through our personal experiences. And it’s working - support for transitioning of children and distressed young adults is crumbling due to evidence-based findings.
Quote of the Week from The Continued Fight to Save Our Children: “Buy our second book Parents with Inconvenient Truths about Trans: More Tales from the Home Front in the Fight to Save Our Kids, Volume ll. This book contains over 80 essays, written by parents who have a lot at stake in the transgender craze, our beloved children. Colorado bill sparks debate over parental rights and gender identity protections
Colorado legislators are split over a bill which claims to either protect transgender individuals or punish parents who don’t affirm, depending on your viewpoint and your sanity level.
On the gender affirming side: "All this does is lay out very clearly that supporting a child's gender identity as a parent is in the best interest of the child and cannot be used against a parent in a custody battle," explained Democratic Rep. Rebekah Stewart, one of the bill's sponsors. The bill would add definitions of "deadnaming" and "misgendering" to acts of coercive control that judges may consider in custody decisions.
On the side of reality, preventing child abuse and protesting the rights of parents Rep. Chris Richardson argued that the bill "fundamentally oversteps the proper role of government" and "threatens parental rights." "This may allow a parent who may be navigating an incredibly complex issue with their child to lose custody for not affirming their gender identity they may not understand, agree with or believe is in the child's best interest,"
This bill defines “coercive control” to include “misgendering” or “deadnaming” one’s own child and makes that a consideration in custody disputes. The Colorado Parent Advocacy Network (CPAN) is calling on allies to sign a petition opposing this bill. If it happens in Colorado, it can happen in your state.
WHAT WE’RE WATCHING
How much does John Oliver hate women?
A lot, it turns out. While 80% of the country oppose trans-gender female athletes (aka men) playing in women’s sports, John Oliver knows that’s because they’re all just small-minded, religious, bigots and he’s here to set us straight. John Oliver uses his platform to mansplain what rights women should feel comfortable surrendering and why it’s important to prioritize the wishes of men.
As he explains, “Just to be clear, I am not happy to watch women experience injury, humiliation, and the loss of sporting opportunities, but trans women and kids seem to be getting hurt the most right now."

Thank you for providing so many truths about our transgender explosion and how it affects our children. The current stance of far too many people is that we should allow people with undeveloped mental capacity (children) to decide for themselves, or with their parents and physicians, to undergo surgeries and ingest chemicals that alter their appearance. If we were to allow mentally disabled individuals with the same age specific understanding and intelligence as an 8th grader to make the same life and physical appearance changing decisions for the children in question ,
the parties involved would be quickly tried, convicted, and sentenced for such unthinkable acts.
The stories you have shared are often the only true examples of the horrific damage done to children when gender dysphoria is present.
John Oliver had his trans-identified research assistant "Dee" reach out to WoLF with a bunch of accusatory questions. It was clear from the questions exactly how the show would be framed ("Shut up, you silly women! Don't you realize that men come first? You're so bigoted to complain.") Happily, WoLF came back swinging. I guess we would have to live (even more) in upside-down land for John Oliver to actually listen to women rather than mock us.
