California Parents Sue AG for Undermining Petition That Bans Sex Change Surgeries for Minors
You may recall reading about the Statewide Ballot Initiative in California that aims to protect children from some of the darker aspects of gender “affirmation care”. It calls for requiring parental notification from schools, protecting girls’ sports and preventing sterilization of trans-identified children. It has hit a bit of a snag as the CA Attorney General rebranded the initiative in an attempt to mislead and confuse voters. In response, California parents sued the state’s attorney general this week for allegedly spinning the language of their ballot initiative in a way that undercuts their effort to let voters weigh in on the state’s transgender policies for kids.

As a Social Worker who worked with these children prior to affirmative care, all I can say is we are lost here. All we can do is affirm. Gender dysphoria isn’t really even diagnosed anymore. It’s not a diagnosis. Body dysmorphia is what’s happening here. The real reality is this is secondary to other mental health disorders, but we cannot diagnose that. The Democrats have signed sealed your children to the slaughter. It’s over until we get a new administration.
