I love Dr. McHugh's statement about coerced compliance with the patients' delusion, but actually all narcissists do this. They try to force people around them to treat the narcissists' false selves as real. Narcissists tend to go into rages and performative self-pity when other people see their underlying weaknesses, inadequacies and psych problems. In my opinion, "trans" identified men act the way they do primarily because so many of them are narcissistic, and not because they are "trans."
Paul McHugh is a hero. It's amazing and depressing that his institution, Johns Hopkins, has gone back to its insane "gender" "affirming" non-care non-health model and has relegated him to the sidelines.
