Welcome to the PITT weekly roundup where you’ll find a list of the week’s postings along with links to some of our favorite books, videos, social media, and podcasts. Please continue the fight against the harms of gender ideology by sharing.
Access to all PITT content is free. Our objective is to inform the public of the devastating impact of gender ideology on families through our personal experiences. And it’s working - support for transitioning of children and distressed young adults is crumbling due to evidence-based findings.
Quote of the Week from My Beautiful Son: “Somewhere along the way his light dimmed. He fell into depression and started self- harming. He told us he’d tried to kill himself and, most recently, he began injecting himself with estrogen—medication he sourced online, without medical oversight.”

IN THE NEWS
How the Transgender Rights Movement Bet on the Supreme Court and Lost, The New York Times, By Nicholas Confessore, June 19, 2025
Billed as “The inside story of the case that could set the movement back a generation” this article details how the ACLU’s picked a battle they couldn’t win (and few wanted them to) with United States v. Skrmetti.
WHAT WE’RE READING
How the Gay Rights Movement Radicalized, and Lost Its Way, Opinion Guest Essay by Andrew Sullivan
“That’s the extremely intolerant and illiberal atmosphere that now exists in the gay, lesbian and transgender space. This little community used to champion all manner of expression or argument or speech, eccentrics and visionaries. Now it’s fearful, self-censored and extremely uptight. Debate has been all but snuffed out; total uniformity of thought is demanded.”
IMAGE THAT CAPTURES IT
This graph demonstrates an exponential year-by-year growth in trans identification among people who currently are under age 40. Note that the recent dramatic growth in such identification has been solely limited to such young people. Middle-aged people and older adults have seen no change.
