Quote of the Week from Detransition Awareness Day: “So, we parents are especially grateful to the detransistioners. We thank them for bringing awareness to a topic that many people don’t want to face and for helping PITT parents navigate the many perils of gender “affirmation”. The decision some detransistioners have made to speak up, to testify, to put their names and faces out their shows their bravery, altruism and maturity. If this decision defines them, they are heroes to us. ”

England’s health service to stop prescribing puberty blockers to transgender kids
In a burst of common sense and evidence based decision making, England’s National Health Service (NHS) has stopped prescribing puberty blockers for children and young people with gender dysphoria or gender incongruence, saying there is “not enough evidence to support the safety or clinical effectiveness” of puberty-suppressing hormones. But because this from CNN, the article goes on to unironically defend the use of puberty blockers. It reads like two disparate articles cobbled together - the first half by a journalist, the second half by an activist. And so it goes.
When will the United States follow suit? Read about a call for President Biden to do just that.
WHAT WE’RE LISTENING TO
Radical Trans Ideology Hurting Kids and Female Athletes, with April Hutchinson, Robby Starbuck, Isabelle Ayala, and Jordan Campbell
Megyn Kelly dives deep into the issue of radical trans ideology in our society today. First, April Hutchinson, record-breaking female powerlifter, joins to talk about the biological man who began taking over her sport. Then detransitioner Isabelle Ayala and her lawyer Jordan Campbell join to talk about Isabelle's story that led her to begin "transitioning" at the age of 14, the lawsuit she has filed taking action on those who pushed this and the major revelations in the "WPATH Files. Then Robby Starbuck, filmmaker of "The War on Children," joins to discuss the way radical trans ideology demands lying about reality, how "social emotional learning" has been co-opted now, race essentialism in our schools, how parents can fight back, and more.
