No thanks. I don't support Crenshaw, even if I agree with his views on this issue.

I am beginning to get the idea that you do not have a child caught up in the trans-mania and medicalization.

Not a son or daughter, but a family member. This is an issue that touches the lives of people perhaps not as directly affected as you are, but who still care very much about the truth. The problem with Mr. Crenshaw is that on many issues he takes positions I object to, so I don't see him as the best change agent. You are free to disagree, of course.

Here's another development:

"EXCLUSIVE: Senate GOP Proposal Would End Federal Funding For ‘Genital Mutilation’ Procedures"

https://www.dailywire.com/news/exclusive-senate-gop-proposal-would-end-federal-funding-for-genital-mutilation-procedures

"The Stop Funding Genital Mutilation Act would ensure that no dollars from Medicaid and the Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP) pay for transgender medical procedures, like removing the breasts of girls who identify as boys, or the administration of cross-sex hormones.

“Texas taxpayers should not be forced to foot the bill for dangerous and often debilitating ‘gender transition’ procedures that are driven by radical ideology masquerading as health care,” Cornyn told The Daily Wire.

The text of the proposal, also sponsored by Sen. James Lankford (R-OK), follows the same lines as the “one, big, beautiful” bill passed by the House, which also ends all funding for transgender procedures.

Cornyn said that he would fight to ensure that the Senate’s version of the reconciliation spending bill would cut funding for transgender procedures like the House His introduction of the bill comes as he faces a contentious primary challenge from Attorney General Ken Paxton, also a firm opponent of transgender procedures.

President Donald Trump made opposing transgender ideology a key plank of his 2024 platform, a position that proved popular with both Republicans and independents. In January, he signed an executive order slashing federal funding for entities that perform transgender procedures on minors.

A recent review by the Department of Health and Human Services found that the arguments for transgender procedures on minors were not backed by scientific evidence."

...

"Sen. Roger Marshall (R-KS) introduced a similar bill last month that would also defund transgender procedures by amending the IRS code to no longer consider the life-altering procedures as health care."

"Healthcare" it certainly is not.

"We live in a free society so adults are at liberty to alter their body as they wish, assuming they can find someone to do it. .... No one can change sex. Telling children and young adults otherwise has been the medical scandal our our lifetimes."

This is true (i.e., that we live in a free society, and adults are at liberty to alter their bodies as they wish).

However, we should not celebrate this, affirm this as "good," be forced to engage in their fantasies, or even be neutral on the idea that people can change sex.

Too much damage has been done and is being done to people who have been blinded by the lie that there is a thing called "transgender".

There is not,

There are definitely people who WANT to be the opposite sex, for myriad reasons. But people cannot be born in the wrong body any more than white people are black, humans are cats, 50-year-olds are children, etc. And when we preserve the right, but don't speak out against the horrors of going down that path we abdicate our positions as caring members of humanity.

We shouldn't "hate" people who make these claims about themselves. We should speak constant truth into them. And if this bill, which is otherwise bloated and has all kinds of things that are not great, passes, we should not throw the baby out with the bathwater and we should celebrate removing the fast-track to medicalization of mentally-ill or mentally-confused people.

It is problematic when the government leader supporting your view of gender issues is himself a chronic liar and degenerate human being. It does no good to have him support our cause. Association with a dangerous lunatic just isn't good. The rest of that big stinker of a bill is so disgusting that our cause will likely go down in defeat because it is mixed up with the rest of that garbage legislation. Next we will have blow back with radical leftists taking control just because Trump is so bad. 8649

James Comey is under investigation for pretending he found those numbers scratched in the sand on the beach and posting about it on social media. He pretended to be all innocent about it but someone in his position would understand that:

86 is slang for kill or something

49 is a reference to the president number 49

86 means to get rid or fire an employee.

I appreciate this reply, S.A. Dad.

In what manner do you wish to "get rid of" the president of the United States?

And, shouldn't we stay focused on "trans" indoctrination and medicalization & our efforts to save our kids?

Going to the BBC:

1) https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c04ezlyq4y0o

"Former FBI director James Comey has been interviewed by the US Secret Service after he shared then deleted a social media post that Republicans alleged was an incitement to violence against US President Donald Trump.

Comey voluntarily participated in the questioning for about an hour at the law enforcement agency's Washington DC headquarters and was not held in custody.

It comes a day after he posted on Instagram a photo of seashells that spelled the numbers "8647".

The number 86 is a slang term whose definitions include "to reject" or "to get rid of", however, it has more recently been used as a term to mean "kill". Trump is the 47th US president."

2) https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c1de47kk31eo

"Republicans in the US are accusing former FBI director James Comey of calling for violence against President Donald Trump by posting a photo online of sea shells assembled to draw out the numbers 8-6-4-7 on a beach.

Trump is the 47th American president, and the phrase "to 86" is a commonly-used restaurant industry term in American-English, meaning "to remove or eject". It is thought to have existed since the 1930s.

More recently, the term has taken on another lesser-known meaning - "to kill", according to Merriam-Webster, the oldest publisher of dictionaries in the US."

Plus:

"In military or law enforcement jargon, it has also come to mean to eliminate or kill, according to a blog entry by Merriam-Webster.

Comey should well understand things related to law enforcement.

Comey didn't indicate he wanted Trump killed. Ousted, but not killed. Having him investigated over that Instagram post is ridiculous. Even if Comey wanted Trump dead, he wouldn't be so stupid as to say so in a public post that would inevitably invite an investigation against him.

Your "fearless leader" -- ima Canuck -- definitely has, apparently, some "clayish" feet. And the general set of cures he is promoting may well be worse than the disease. But as many symptoms looked to be fatal, one might reasonably argue that he was rather substantially the better choice last November.

Accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative ...

We need this Bill with this amendment to start a domino effect with private insurance and to counter the gender identity ideology that is already embedded in government policy and law. This isn't an EO that can be flipped by the next administration. It's real legislation. No Democrat politician openly supports "our cause". President Trump and the GOP do, and they're willing to take real action. "8649"? Really? Save your TDS for more appropriate forums. Please. Comments like that make you look like a dangerous lunatic and is making PITT look bad by "association".

Because this masquerades as "Heathcare" vulnerable people like my daughter think it is perfectly fine with maybe only some sort of "rare side effects". And, what young person is thinking about having kids?

Magically, everyone will "think she is a man soon!" She even likes men. (Gay ones seem safe?)

So, what is happening inside your body when you take testosterone from cheerleading doctors? "It's all fine! You just don't like it. There are studies."

Medical Associations need to condemn these quack self-referencing Studies pronto! And, the FDA needs to step in, fast please!

Gay trans men are a thing. Identifying as one enables these females to be comfortable with their natural heterosexual attraction to males but under novel and more "equal" dynamics. She (and many others) get this notion that they're really gay men from being immersed in a particular form of pornographic anime called "Yaoi". AKA "Boy Love". Yaoi is essentially Japanese cartoons (written by women for "fujoshi" women) featuring gay men in romantic (and very sexual) relationships. Young girls are drawn to them because there is no icky, "subordinate" females and no sex involving dysphoria inducing female body parts. They also join Yaoi "fandom" communities online (on Reddit and on private Discord servers) to discuss the stories and share their own drawings and writings about certain characters. Some take their gay trans man identities to extremes by setting up profiles on gay hook up apps and crashing gay sex clubs in the real world. Much to the irritation and disgust of real gay men. I wish I were kidding with all this, but I'm not. And I'm truly sorry to horrify you with this information but the anime connection and the reinforcement of the trans identity in their fandoms cannot be denied or dismissed. Immersion in X rated anime cartoons and participating in the communities devoted to them online has captured and warped many a young person's imagination and put them squarely on the trans path to ruin.

Amen to that. Though Deuteronomy not unreasonably calls it an "abomination unto the lord" for women to wear men's clothes and vice versa. Which might reasonably be extended to reshaping one's body to look like the opposite sex.

Maybe apart from the questionable merit in putting that principle into gawd’s mouth, there is still some social value and utility in various signifiers of one's sex category membership. Arguably something of a fraud and deception, if not outright Big Lie, to obscure, deny, abrogate and repudiate those signifiers.

12 It is not in heaven, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go up for us to heaven, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?

13 Neither is it beyond the sea, that thou shouldest say, Who shall go over the sea for us, and bring it unto us, that we may hear it, and do it?
