I feel bad for the people who have to engage with him in the world and mostly bad for his brother who hasn't seen the totality of his madness. I now tell every young mother I meet to keep their kids away from the internet. It is my only advice. I tell them to give them a flip phone. I always want to say "also, teach them there is only men and women and to not be so kind to other ideas". I was a "kind" person. Live and let live. How can we tell what is going on in that other person's mind/body. True trans....blah blah blah. Until my kid decided he was at 20 with ZERO childhood discomfort and not gay. I actually spent a lot of time listening to trans people thinking I was wrong and needed to be educated. Doing that just made me a TERF. You can't not see the madness when you have a logical mind and listen to these people. It is cult like, just no leader (unless you count the terrible Rachel Levine). I am voting for TRUMP on the hope he fires that creepy cross dressing transvestite day 1).
Sorry you are going through this too. It is so frustrating as I hear all of these trans activists promoting this idea that these kids "always knew" but there are soooooo many of them that did not. He tries to rewrite his childhood, but I was there full time as a stay at home mom. If you believe in the ideology at all, "they" say gender is set by 6. He was all boy. I was "progressive" at the time and actually had all my childhood toys (dolls and my little pony) out for him to play with. He never touched them so I gave them away to a friend who had a girl when he was 5. I shopped with him, I took him to children's museums that had dress up clothes. Zero interest in "girl" things. It is such BS. Clearly there is something else going on here and safeguards need to be put back in place.
Indeed. I too tell my friends with younger kids to delay phones as long as possible. But I can’t explain exactly why for fear of being labeled as a transphobe and socially/professionally ostracized. (I’m in academia in a blue state.) Sadly, our school district gives students Chromebooks (I think starting in kinder, since Covid) so there’s no way to keep them off the internet entirely.
THIS! I tried so hard as they were growing up. Bought the blockers, put on the settings on their phones, tried to limit internet usage, but then the schools would require them to use their phones for an assignment, or they would use "incognito" (wich is the worst feature and parents should have a way to opt out of that!!!). Nothing worked. I didn't understand how bad reddit and discord was. I had no idea what was out there. I tell parents that. I tell them they have no idea how bad those sites are and I tell them about incognito. Unfortunately, there is always a work around.

Our child was “at 20 with ZERO discomfort and not gay” as well. Totally captured by the internet and a product of the university.
Same here

100% with you !!
I am definitely voting for Trump, too.
