From page 40 of the HHS report:

"Medical transition for gender dysphoric youth is a comparatively recent practice and

grew out of the clinical experience of transitioning mature adults. It is common in

medicine to extend medical treatments to children once they have been proven safe

and effective in adults. In this case, however, the opposite occurred. The rationale for

transitioning adolescents emerged from the observation that medical transition in adults

often failed to produce the desired positive outcomes."

Also, Dr. Paul McHugh figured out years ago that mental health outcomes were not improved but the field proved too profitable. And then, of course, some plastic surgeons are just money driven ghouls.

So, we do not have a record of good outcomes in adults and are experimenting on the population at large (but without any controls so they cannot really be termed experiments).

I am very skeptical about the "gold standard" argument where RFK and the Surgeon General do not feel that they can make a simple statement regarding the medical system administering massive doses of testosterone to females. No dose is proven safe. But, the girls are told that it is. We will never get another chance.

You are 100 percent correct. The surgeon general, and also others such as the secretaries of the Food and Drug Administration, Health and Human Services, National Institute of Health, and Medicare/Medicaid. And Trump. I wish all of them would be pounding the table at every briefing and conference.

I love Robert F. Kennedy for his decades long opposition to corrupt practices in the area of vaccines, his dedication against autism, his goals of purity in food and water. But the review on transgenderism is weak precisely because of his insistence on “gold standard science”. His approach is too slow. On the one hand he is promising MAHA will make a substantial difference before the next federal election in 2026. But on the other hand, we have determined adversaries who are going to bog down progress and use every tactic to mire the federal administration in mud.

When are the teachers and psychologists and doctors and administrators going to prison for their crimes pushing trans? When are the insurance companies paying for trans drugs and surgeries going to be forced to pay punitive fines for enriching the trans industry?

There is no amount of Testosterone approved for young women for this purpose. It is clearly bad for women (destroys fertility, leads to vaginal atrophy, etc.) and no proof that it improves mental health. So, I am not buying that a "gold standard" against it is needed. The FDA and RFK could keep it simple - rather than take on the whole ideology right off. It seems like such a no-brainer for the FDA and it would have great impact. Instead, the suggestion seems to be that RFK must prove a negative?

The billionaire autogyno men who want to have their life choices normalized and who get off on being taken "as real women" by society seem to need trans-out children and young women to validate the Cult belief system. They do not care about all the young people (young men as well as young women) who are harmed. They even want them to be taught the cult belief system in our schools K - University, which is happening. Dr. Johanna Olson Kennedy also needs this to justify her marriage. Kennedy writes about how much the woman she is married to suffers every day to be "his true authentic self". One might think that a doctor who loved her spouse might help her to be well? (Munchausen Syndrome by Spouse Proxy?)

Then, there is the fact that our Pharma and Medical system reaps enormous profits from "trans". But, the Surgeon General took on Tobacco companies in 1964 so there is precedent.

Does the Surgeon General profit from Pharma?

The HHS report is lengthy but it does start with an executive summary. The summary is divided onto parts, matching the four parts of the main body of the report. I suggest jump to part four of the executive summary if you would like to get the highlight quickly.

How can we use this report?

When talking to relatives and neighbors and friends, this report is evidence that trans ideology is NOT a consensus opinion, evidence that transition is NOT a suicide prevention, that transition is NOT a therapy for psychological problems. This report shows the HARM done to children.

You can bring this report to your school, your doctor, your psychologist, your relatives, your kid’s friends, to anyone involved in trans ideology and shove it in front of their eyes and tell them you are not taking any of their trans BULL****

I agree with you, Mr. Hamburger :)

But... given that "it doesn’t help. It makes everything worse" AND we have a new administration with MAHA, why do you suppose the Surgeon General hasn't warned that testosterone isn't proven to be safe and effective for young women? Our daughter, who would not smoke a cigarette because it is bad for you, applies a testosterone gel daily and believes that it is a "therapy" because that is what the American Health System and her doctors tell her. The insurance system even pays for it (small co-pay) for the use of "gender" even though it has never been approved for this use - AT ALL.

Once, the Surgeon General warned that smoking is bad for your health.

"When the U.S. Surgeon General Shocked Americans by Announcing That Smoking Kills

The 1964 disclosure marked the first time many smokers had heard about the health dangers of tobacco"

https://www.smithsonianmag.com/smart-news/when-the-us-surgeon-general-shocked-americans-by-announcing-that-smoking-kills-180985726/

We need this NOW for "Gender Medicine". It is necessary but not sufficient to tell the neighbors, etc. (if you are not afraid that your child will be taken from you for it). This is the time for the government and MAHA to act. We might not get another chance.

Thanks to educate us! It should have been obvious that human beings have a biological reality that we have to conform to but in an upside up world obvious is not enough. The ideological war's spoils of relativism and nihilism. No surprise there, things naturally ended up to its logical conclusion. Nature revenges against humans who wants to change it. Nature and the physical world are programmed by the Creator to work in a certain way and we as humans must work with those parameters that have been given to us, once we walk away of the natural world bad things happen. Education used to be about understanding nature and the physical world that is where do we live and we learned to interact with it, in the most efficient ways for our own advance (society). Education now is indoctrination specially in the most powerful countries, mainly where materialism prevails and spirituality chokes by the atheist point of view where humans are just OBJECTS no SUBJECTS that deserve so many things because of our divine origin. We have a purpose and we are immortals (our souls are of divine origin). Now, it doesn't matter if you believe it or not but that belief of transcendence makes humans better and that is what it counts, but it has sense because the complexity of existence is so sophisticate it and so tune in, and perfect as an intelligence had provided us with everything we need to survive and if we need to survive it is because we are wanted and loved, we are not just an accident or a bunch of cels, that it is logic and reasonable.
