The scary thing is that the article could still pass as an article that was written last week.

Yep! That explains the insanity I am living with my 20 year old son! Women are honestly our biggest obsticle (I am a woman). I believed in "trans" until it happend to my family 2 years ago. I want to shout to these crazy liberal women "HE IS NOT A WOMAN! I saw him EVERY day for 18 years! Do not let him in your bathroom!!" But they will just look at me and yell "transphobe" and vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Idiots!!!

What's really depressing is it's been three years and nothing's changed. Or am I unduly pessimistic?

More than twice as long as that for us. I was frustrated that it was not an issue in the last election.

I was barely aware of this issue last (presidential) election. This time I’m voting straight Republican despite having been a Dem for 23 years and an Independent for another 12.

I think you're unduly pessimistic. A lot has changed in the last 3 years. The Cass Review and everything downstream from it, just for starters, has made significant improvements in Europe. Meanwhile, in America, we're seeing serious backlash against trans insanity in the areas of spaces and institutions designed for women, particularly women's sports. It's growing significant enough that some commenters are saying "this is going to cost the Democrats the election."

Things haven't changed *conclusively* yet, but the momentum is definitely on our side, for the first time ever.

It takes longer for societal psychlogical illness to abate and in the meantime there are human sacrifices . Consider the witch craze in Europe ......

The Dawkins quote at the beginning of this is entirely backwards. It's not a coincidence that madness like this has popped up in a time of declining faith. In Ephesians chapter 6, Paul called faith a "shield," a vital piece of a suit of armor with which to face the problems that the world will confront you with. When children are confronted by these problems unarmored and unshielded, that is when they are vulnerable.

As Ben Franklin famously put it, when the well's dry, you know the worth of water. Failing to cultivate faith in the minds of vulnerable children, we are beginning to clearly see now, is the truly grievous wrong.

I don't agree with the Dawkins quote either; but it seems that a lot of churches are fully on board with the gender woo, unfortunately. Faith is something different from fantasy, such as all the anime that children are watching online which has a lot to do with the growth of this cult. I think that faith is about something beyond the self; whereas the gender ideology makes one focus entirely on the self, one's 'identity' which is not a recipe for happiness as Jordan Peterson pointed out.

Pure absurdity!

And where does the church get the claim from that "fully 50% of LGBTQ+ Americans live in poverty"??? I have read that the incomes of alphabet crowd households are HIGHER than the national average.

Sadly, that is nowhere near as crazy unexpected as it ought to be. The C of E left its Biblical moorings behind some time ago. At least, the bishops and leadership did, though there are still many at grassroots level who have not bowed the knee to Baal.

So long as it's faith in the truth of Christ, as Paul was speaking of.

Not faith just in anything you decide you want to be true, such as trans.
