Trans Ideology as an Infectious Disease

What is trans ideology? It’s so many things, all bad. It’s an evil ideology. Gender ideologues believe that anyone can live as their “true” gender, independent of biological reality. It’s a belief system. Believers say that it’s possible to be born in the wrong body. It’s a twisted religion. Followers have faith that the grisly treatments and surgeries proscribed in the futile attempt to change sexes are the path to happiness. Trans ideology is a get-rich scheme for doctors and pharmaceutical companies. These groups are raking in boatloads of money by creating lifelong patients. And of course, as we all know, trans ideology is a lie.

One thing trans is not is a “person's deeply felt internal sense of being male, female, or something else, independent of their sex assigned at birth.” Dr. Az Hakeem, a psychiatrist who developed and ran the Adult Gender Dysphoria Psychotherapy Service in the UK, has seen hundreds of patients with many variations of “trans”. In the Battle of Ideas Festival 2024, Dr. Az Hakeem stated quite directly, “I think there’s no such thing as trans. I think it’s a proxy solution for something else.”

There is no such thing as trans. That’s an important observation. I interpret that to mean that no one is born in the wrong body. No one has ever been born in the wrong body. So, what is trans?

It’s illuminating to define trans as a 21st century internet virus of the mind that infects vulnerable people, instead of vulnerable computers, with the lure of future happiness. Trans acts like a virus in that, like many viruses, it attacks people who are especially susceptible for other underlying reasons. Usually, that includes kids and young adults who are unhappy in an “I don’t fit in” kind of way. People suffering from internalized homophobia, and/or trauma, and/or are on the autism spectrum are especially vulnerable to be infected by this virus. Though anyone who isn’t completely comfortable with themselves is at risk. This vulnerable population includes a lot of people, particularly young people. This disease spreads from person to person through the internet like cancer spreads from cell to cell in someone’s body. The contagion is also spread directly from people, often friends, but also doctors, psychologists, teachers, counselors, even neighbors. Too many of these authority figures are the equivalent of Typhoid Mary - they don’t get sick (identify as trans), but they spread the virus. The trans disease maims and kills people, yet the enablers never consider the misery they are spreading. As of yet, there is no equivalent of an antiviral drug or therapy that can be used to directly treat a victim of the trans internet virus.

The messaging to every person infected with trans could be: “Trans ideology is not your fault. It is a 21st century virus of the mind and you have been infected. When you are ready to move on, there are resources to help you. No one judges you or blames you. You are the victim. No one in the history of mankind has been born in the wrong body. You haven’t either. There is no wrong way to be a man or a woman. You are fine as you are”.

There are many advantages for victims who are ready to stop the craziness and dump trans. They will stop fighting their body. They will no longer get “the look of WTF” or “the look of pity” from people who see through their attempts to look like the opposite sex. They can ditch the tiresome persecution complex that pervades all of gender ideology. They can stop obsessing over the next body modification that might allow them to “pass”. They can reconnect with loved ones who they shunned because of the trans disease. They can start to treat the terrible injuries caused by the disease, injuries that do not occur in nature, and only occur in gender clinics. They can start to live again.

Doctors, teachers, counselors and others who have enabled the spread of this virus must get the same message: No one is born in the wrong body. Ever. Stop spreading this virus and start contributing to the eradication of this 21st century internet virus. Other contagious diseases have been eradicated (smallpox), so this disease can also be eradicated. Offer treatment to all the victims who have been harmed by this disease. Leave no one behind.

Our kids think that the trans ideology is a cure for their pain and confusion. It's not. Trans ideology has all the characteristics of an infectious disease.
