Thank you. A good use of an unimaginably horrible time.

I'd like to add to the list of those vulnerable to the agenda; young men who've been told, in multiple ways, that (white)men are the source of all that is bad, in the universe. Truly. Who would want to grow up to be that? Why do we need to poke fun, dengrate, disregard and "toxify" all men (or women)? Where is the help in that? How is it useful or beneficial? It's not. And its time for it to stop.

Looking forward to the documentary. The list you provide of vulnerable kids who are finding themselves caught up in transition as a possible solution: neurodivergent kids, kids with trauma, kids with PTSD, kids with a host of other mental illnesses, kids with eating disorders, kids who hate their bodies -- all points to a common root cause:

For this generation, "being trans" is an idiom of distress. It's a way these kids take their bad feelings and experiences and lay them at the feet of a simple and currently popular idea about a root cause with a clear-cult solution: "gender," which will be solved by "transition."

Just as hundreds of years ago, someone might have blamed their bad fortune on being cursed by the local witch, kids now are attributing their sincere bad feelings to "gender." It's just as illusory as a belief in witches. Surprisingly, drowning the local witch didn't solve people's real-world problems, just as transition doesn't solve people's real-world problems today. I'm sure that's what we'll learn when we watch this documentary.

A wider understanding of "being trans" as our own cultural creation is the key to understanding both _why_ this is happening and _how_ to end it.
