Your story is a sad one. I am guessing there is not a dad in the picture. The art of growing. a family is an art never completely mastered by a couple and very much harder for only one. Transgenderism overcomes us but it is a trend, a malice of our nihilist times, a time without aim, path, morals, normalization of evil at a societal level. What we can teach our children when the world outside tell them is all wrong and desauthenticated us. Children with broken families are more vulnerable as never been right now, the ones who have families are merely surviving because families are being attacked and their rights canceled. Also many parents can't teach much when they lost authority and credibility in front of their own children when they prioritize vain things and support non-sense causes exposing their children to confusion. I am talking in general because in all my experiences first hand with families with transgender kids all share many things in common as to go with the flow and don't give this issue the importance that is due and don't act sooner, instead of be assertive and tell their children the truth-you cannot be a girl because you are a boy and you can't change that- or ask them-who told you that? Who is the one who is feeding you with lies and nonsense-they did not want to "look"like "cruel" parents. They did not want to go to extremes as take the children out of that school or out of that circle of friends, or out of Social Media, or stop working so hard and stay at home to watch over their kids or homeschooling them. Now, they are living the extreme they did not want to face before. Is not losing a child bc of transgenderism an extreme? Parents: Make the changes are needed it to protect your children, there are not a more important thing, a comfortable lifestyle neither a good job are worthy if your children's well being is at peril, they will pay the ultime price of a society that is more focus in riches, materialism and consumerism than in its members' spirit, souls and physical beings. They are more than the sheep, they are the sacrificial lambs.
I am not blaming the parents totally but I had suggested it in the past to move away to protect their children and my advice have been accused of being extreme. Transgenderism is extreme and it takes extreme measures and it is mainly a rich and decadent country problem, this is not a problem in other more poor countries or Eastern European countries or Asian countries (I travel a lot and I observed those things). If families do that it would be for few years and the cases I know that done that, all have overcame the gender confusion of the family's member who was affected by it, because in other countries will not have that support, of course the enemy reach our kids still through the internet so still that has to be watched as hawks. Of course we have to change things here, make it illegal and some states had laws now that make it illegal in the case of children only, but 18 years old also are teen agers, they cannot smoke or drink but still butcher their bodies? So, 18 is not adulthood in these times, and after all, a person who decide to do that, not matter their age, are not right in their minds so they shouldn't have the power of doing a such extreme thing as many detransitioners are openly and publicly talking about, that they shouldn't have been allowed to do something like that but the doctors pushed them and really they didn't know what they were doing and the price they payed specially boys into girls. Those doctors should be accountable and be in jail!!!

I hope it’s some consolation that this whole ideology is about to collapse. I haven’t given up on that hope. For many of us it is too late with our sons & daughters but it will be something that this never happens to a soul again

To prove to you that he was a female, that he was thriving, or that he was now happy? His returning did more harm than good. I am so sad to hear, yet another story of a broken family in turmoil because of this cult. Your youngest son was indeed preyed upon, as if he were a lost sheep because your older son is now a devil in woman's clothing. I hope your wishes come true and your youngest son returns to you, but what about future generations? What if your youngest son has children? Then they will fall prey to your oldest son. I am suspicious because Romulus did not make peace with his mother, so he did not come back to re-establish relationship with his mother. He came back to recruit his brother. I feel sure of it.
I think it is very possible and very prudent to keep a trans kid away from siblings. There are many families dealing with serious abusers among their relatives, whether it be trans or other types of abuse, such as alcohol or drugs or porn or thievery or wreckless behaviour such as street racing cars. Often the best course of action is tough love. Send the abuser away, keep yourself and remaining family safe.
Everyone knows that the gay lifestyle perpetuates the onboarding of the young and naive by the old and experienced. It sickens me to see old men/women with young men/women and I find homosexuality gross, I really don't want to see it, holding hands, kissing, any of it, I am sorry but it is true.
