Yes the use of oestrogen on men and testosterone on women are undoubtedly harmful for two main reasons.

1. The use of puberty blockers in adolescents and/or cross sex hormones is depriving the participant of the hormones vital for their healthy growth and development throughout puberty, therefore contributing to early onset of osteoporosis, interference in brain development particularly the hypothalamus and creating heightened instability in the limbic system. Plus the effects on the heart, lungs, circulatory system, kidneys, nervous system and reproductive organs.

2. In older participants the deprivation of their natural hormones also interfere with maintenance of healthy organs and systems, but adds to further complications because of the impact of hormones foreign to their natural receptor sites. Therefore the transgender women will be at a higher risk of developing breast cancer, earlier onset of osteoporosis, cardiac and kidney disease.

We need to look at the root causes of this phenomena, known as gender dysphoria, to really prevent this problem developing in the first place.

These harmful hormones are being handed out like candy and these confused and misinformed children are so eager to take them because they have been brainwashed to believe that this new "candy" will make them feel good. The harm that is being done to healthy male bodies is irreversible! Why isn't this being discussed and talked about BEFORE anyone receives these hormones? Oh, right! I almost forgot: BIG PHARMA. Follow the money. Greed = evil. We need accountability. Justice needs to be served not ignored. The worst medical scandal in history. I worry about an uprising when all these trans-people find out they have been duped. Doctors beware!

Will make copies & leave or send to doctor’s offices. As fiduciaries it’s on them to ignore. The way hormones are dispensed for so called GAC I honestly don’t think they realize what they are doing.

Sharing! Thank you!!! I’ve been begging for information on this as my son is (what I call) committing doctor prescribed suicide due to these meds. Depression & emotional distress obviously, but what specifically is it doing to his body? Heart attack, stroke, cancer, kidney stones, etc?!

I checked he has short and long term health insurance so when I get the inevitable call, I won’t be left destitute caring for him. His so-called online friends won’t be there. His younger brother shouldn’t be left to deal with the consequences of his misguided actions. The doctors will have long since cashed their paychecks and moved on to the next profitable venture. No suing them as lawyers on payroll say “Your son was a consenting adult & knew these risks.” These meds should never have been offered as an alternative to mental healthcare in the first place.

He knew the risks? I kept hearing there weren’t any long term risks every time one of the advocates spoke about these issues.

Why the hell can’t these people be sued? Class action, start now with some of the de-transitioned.

Be careful. The health insurance companies might deny payouts because your son knew the risks.

Here is some more information about what happens to men when they get "treatments" to feminize themselves: https://lucyleader.substack.com/p/gender-affirming-surgeries-are-not (Spoiler alert- nothing anyone can do actually means that you can change your sex.)

Would you mind making one for girls/women taking testosterone in the same style?

This could easily be made into a sticker and put up in many places.

My son transitioned as an adult and no one had bothered to tell him about the sterilizing effects of estrogen. I told him! He had no idea!

Same here. My son doesn’t seem to care or blocks it out. I mean if the doctor said it’s fine then why should he be concerned? Said sarcastically, of course. Just like politicians, these self-serving doctors will never go against cutting off something that is beneficial to their own interests, aka pocketbooks, even if it’s to greatly benefit the patient.

Glad that getting studies of harm. Wish more (Planned Parenthood!) had utilized common sense and pumped brakes before loading female hormones into male body, or male into young girls.

Thank you for doing this- what a great idea. I am an equally desperate mom of a trans- identified son. I agree— it is so very urgent to move faster, both for young men and women. It is so very obvious that this is a very bad idea. This should be on Genspect, DIAG, do no harm etc websites. It’s a great visual to be used in schools too. Thank you again.

If "gender medicine" doctors truly cared about their patients, they would give this flyer to their patients. You know, as doctors do for pretty much any other treatment.

Yep! Or they could not prescribe any cross sex hormones in the first place. How about prescribing some quality, non-ideology filled therapy!

This diagram should be given to every patient and printed on the packaging, as well as placed on the websites that assist or groom toward transition. I'm so sorry that your son is going through this. I hope for a day that big pharma is held accountable as in the opioid crisis. Thank you for sharing.

I would as well, as T seems to be causing havoc with my daughter yet the GP continues with it and my daughter denies any of it is T related.

Don’t you just want to “do no harm” to the doctors creating this mess?! Make them take the cross sex hormones and let them live out what they’re doing to others.
