It is a belief system. Somehow schools get away with teaching it when they cannot teach other belief systems as fact. The schools ought to be honest and rename themselves something like "Gender Identity Ideology County School". Catholic schools put "Catholic" in their name.
I'm not a lawyer but I feel that there has to be a separation of Church and State issue here. How can this belief system be promoted in public education?
I emailed the "counseling center" director at one of the colleges my daughter is applying to asking their policy and procedure around all this b.s. The responder "could not" answer my questions because everything is SO individual.
Yep. That's the problem isn't it? Very individual, but somehow the "counseling center" can figure it all out ASAP when the student is standing in front of them.
My kids are in their 30’s and recently trans. They have mental and emotional issues that are not being addressed and I can’t make them do anything. If you have a trans kid and you practice affirmation, you are aiding and abetting in the mutilation of your child, except in the rare case where the transitioning is a legitimate.
I'm afraid the answer is "what?" I think it's going to come down to "TERF Island" to start eroding this horror show, because we seem to be the only significant place with sufficient freedom of action (at the moment) to stand up and make the case for reality.
Any method we can make the media to show more pictures of struggling trans kids?
No, what will be necessary is to set up these pictures ourselves.

Psychologists and psychiatrists are the enemy of normal non-insane people at this time.
College is really dangerous right now.
Laws prohibit selling alcohol or marijuana before age 21, yet purchasing cross-sex hormones is perfectly fine.

Guessing the universities don't advertize or have detransition support. Or therapy and checks for comorbidities.
Too misinformed or just....what??

I'm there. Here's to being a TERF (Tired of Explaining Reality to Fools) on TERF Island.
