I'm not sure it is a big organized group trying to do this, I think a few selfish people fixated on this are pushing it but that it caught on and got momentum. And there is a big organized group supporting it because they believe it is true and good and healthy. Teachers, community leaders, role models, doctors, therapists, companies (those flags!), activist groups trying to make the world better and thinking this is part of it....

Yes our son fell into this before we even saw it coming. This was years ago around Covid, and a highly anxious person was easily susceptible to this mind-virus. More susceptible than to covid actually. We didn't know what we didn't know. Satan did an end run around us and left us with a son who thinks he's a daughter. The more you say to them, the more you are marked as outdated and too "religious". If you try to speak truth they see it as an unsafe lie. He has spoken to me a couple of times so there's that but I live in fear of someone hurting him or worse and not knowing for months. I trust that the Lord is going to bring him through this somehow. He's sovereign over all, and I know that he loves our son more than we do, and he knows where he is at all times. I pray for all of our children. When the truth comes out to them, I pray that they will feel our love and come home. We will run to meet them.
Amen and amen! Our son is on the spectrum and estranged from us 5 years ago. 😢 He came out at 18 but at age 37, 3 years ago, he told my sister he was transitioning....very fearful for his health and safety.
I keep putting him In God's Hands over and over- never felt this kind of ambiguous grief. He will be 40 this summer. Praying for all our adult kids, that they soon would see that this has not and will not do for them what they and desist.

I have written several pieces on YouTubers and many of the prominent ones (like FTM Chase Ross) spread their wings across every platform out there. And since we have a "gender affirming" cultural beast giving credence to pseudoscience in medicine, therapy, government, schools and TRAs, how can vulnerable youth keep it from indoctrinating them?

My daughter (on the autism spectrum) has vanished and gone "off-grid", so I may never see her again either. Early on, she was on social media around the clock...
i was a smart kid in middle school! it actually helped me realize i was trans! because im smart i was able to understand how i felt , and that let me realize i was trans. maybe consider your “smart kid” is smart, and they are correct in realizing they are trans
Great point. I’ve got two genius-level kids, both of whom fell to this mind virus. I too thought they were too smart to fall for this insanity, but I was wrong.
Our Aspergers daughter, like yours also genius-level, fell into it on Tumblr and through peers, indoctrinatory teachers and extended family members, backed by unthinking herd media. A top university affirmed to the hilt the cruel lie that she was not a woman.
We'd had an affectionate, loving relationship. The total shock when she began showing signs of the 'parents are unsafe' grooming, and knowing that everyone else in her life seemed to be righteously pushing her off a cliff, cheering on profound self-harm and greatly diminished life chances, traumatises us to this day. Our wonderful, autistically suggestible kid was entirely betrayed by people who pretended to care about her well-being.
She has duly followed the physical 'transition' checklist, having come to believe herself a gay man. We've managed to keep channels from closing shut by letting her know our love for her in little ways over the years, avoiding perjuring ourselves through avoiding sexed language. She loves us despite what she's been coached by bad actors, is now more mature and although still a rigidly autistic believer in her transness, is more openly affectionate toward us, lets herself enjoy our company when our paths cross.
I hold out hope for more, alongside a sorrow without end at what she has been led to lose, and hope that all families invaded by the gender virus/cult can find ways to mend the crucial bonds of parent-child love. These poor kids, so egregiously and cynically used and thrown away by malevolent others whose reach into the minds of the young has been turbocharged by the internet, and who couldn't care less how much damage they leave in their wake.
Thanks for sharing your difficult journey. We too had an “affectionate, loving relationship.” We began seeing the signs as well and then our loving autistic son disappeared overnight. All those pushers including his university facilitated his capture. I had no desire to write or speak publicly but if it prevents one child and their family from entering this nightmare, it’s worth it.
