Yes, my best friend of nearly three decades has decided to renounce her faith and everything she had ever believed in order to affirm her youngest daughter as a son. And that included renouncing our friendship, though I never said a word to her about her daughter. (I didn’t have the chance, really, because as soon as she started identifying as a man, my friend relinquished her oldest friends and became someone else entirely.)
I don’t know how she sleeps at night, but I also can’t imagine how my own daughter sleeps at night. Does God not speak to them in their dreams, as He does to me? Are they so deaf that they no longer hear? See? Feel? Anything? I honestly don’t know.
That’s so sad. So your best friend has a daughter transitioning…& she supports it?? Is her daughter medicalized

Wow…I think I am speechless. I couldn’t live with myself if I affirmed my son’s madness. He needs help, they all do.
