SUBJECT: Please fight the man-made chronic disease of transgenderism
Dear Secretary Kennedy,
Congratulations on becoming Secretary of HHS. In your acceptance speech you spoke of God answering your years-long prayer; many parents hope their years-long pleas may at last be answered, too.
MAHA is right to declare war on chronic disease among all Americans, and especially among children. You’re right to scrutinize old chronic diseases that have risen, such as obesity, diabetes, and asthma. You’re right to attack existing problems that have evolved or metastasized, like opioid abuse. You’re right to re-examine existing cures, asking if they’re being used to the greatest benefit, and whether they cause harms.
Please also attack a fourth, more insidious category: new chronic diseases that are entirely and deliberately man-made.
I refer to the industry that has sprouted up around gender, gender dysphoria1, and transgenderism.
Please extend your scrutiny of the pharmaceutical and medical industry to gender as well. Is there any more dramatic example of inventing a problem, promoting it among a vulnerable population, offering a solution that turns healthy young people into lifelong patients, then milking those patients/customers for the rest of their lives with an ever-shifting menu of drugs, therapies, and surgeries? Drugs to counter the side effects of the last drugs; surgeries to undo the damage of prior surgeries; on and on, for the rest of one’s life?
The radical cosmetic procedures of “Sex Change” have been rebranded “life-saving gender-affirming care” both to lure the vulnerable and then to unlock insurance money. Where is the scientific evidence showing any of this saves lives? Or even improves lives? There is none.
The healthcare industry maximizes profit by managing disease, not preventing it. “Gender Dysphoria” is the perfect boondoggle: it’s a socially spread “disease” that makes lifetime patients out of its victims.
A healthy, happy child or young adult is terrible for business; so invent a new, highly contagious condition that gets ‘em young and converts otherwise healthy people to become lifelong patients. The Gender-Industrial Complex2 destroys lives. It destroys families, including mine. Don’t let “activist” cries of “transphobia” scare you away from this necessary battle; they are promoters and profiteers. Listen to the eloquent testimony of parents and de-transitioners3 the victims of this scam.
The man-made chronic disease of transgenderism has grown over 20% per year,4 and now affects over 300,000 American children.5 Thousands have already been harmed by drugs and surgeries. Young adults are being harmed, too: over 400,000 of them,6 having been socially “infected” as minors.
Though some misguided medical and psychiatric professionals may think they’re helping, they’re actually promoting a Gnostic ideology7 — there is no science8 behind gender dysphoria, more accurately called transgender ideation,9 and its “treatments”. The first scientific study in the UK, the NHS Cass Review,10 banned their treatments. In the US, sane scientific voices11 have been silenced. The entire industry is ripe for scrutiny, prosecution, and shutdown. If it’s not shut down, the door stays open to inventing even more new diseases.
Transgenderism is among the largest12 and worst medical scandals in American history, above even eugenic sterilization,13 lobotomy, Tuskegee, and recovered memories. I hope that someone will end it, will bring healing to the young people and families it has harmed, and will deliver justice to the people who created and promoted it.
