NO PLACE in a CIVILIZED DEMOCRACY! Nothing “civilized “ about the TRA’s- the lies that they spew at the expense of vulnerable people. And as always, follow the MONEY!

The link to Michael Biggs on suicide does not work well. The link appears to have changed, and is now https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8888486/ . Please consider changing this in this very good article, and thank you for it.

GLAAD needs to take the GL out of their name and replace it with TQ. They are ideologically captured and have been for a while now.

If there was a word cloud created from all of the comments to Pam Paul’s piece in the NYT, “transphobe” would turn into a neon sign. That is because anyone who asserts that humans are sexually dimorphic is a transphobe. Anyone who asserts that women who have been sexually assaulted might not want people with penises in vulnerable spaces is a transphobe. Anyone who even questions whether a 13-year-old child is able to consent to lifelong medical care and infertility via "gender affirming care" is a transphobe. Anyone who says a rapist who suddenly identifies, without any medical intervention or history of gender dysphoria, as a woman should not be placed in a women's prison is a transphobe. Anyone who holds any of the above positions and also asserts adults have the right to live as they see fit will full bodily autonomy respect, care, and rights is a transphobe. These people are not transphobic, they are rational people honestly questioning a sudden and significant shift in cultural norms.

We are dealing with monsters in medicine, therapy, pharma, and investors like the Pritzkers and the Buffets. I watched " Detransition: The Wounds That Won't Heal | Chloe Cole | EP 319

Dr Jordan B Peterson sits down with 18 years old de-transitioner Chloe Cole. Chloe was indoctrinated, affirmed, and set on an irreparable path at the age of 15, and now finds herself abandoned by the community and the doctors that lead her over the edge.

Chloe Cole is an 18-year-old de-transitioner from The Central Valley of California. She started her transition at 12 years old, puberty blockers and testosterone at 13, and had a double mastectomy at 15 years old. She is now a strong advocate against gender ideology.

As for the rest of society going along with ideology that is dominant at the moment - even when confronted with atrocity, Dietrich Bonhoeffer has explained,

"the events in Germany between 1933 and 1943 had shown him that perfectly intelligent people were, under the pressure of political power and propaganda, rendered stupid—that is, incapable of critical reasoning. As he put it:

Stupidity is a more dangerous enemy of the good than wickedness. Evil can be protested against, exposed, and, if necessary, it can be prevented by force. Evil always harbors the germ of self-destruction by inducing at least some uneasiness in people. We are defenseless against stupidity. Nothing can be done to oppose it, neither with protests nor with violence. Reasons cannot prevail. Facts that contradict one's prejudice simply don't need to be believed, and when they are inescapable, they can simply be brushed aside as meaningless, isolated cases.

In contrast to evil, the stupid person is completely satisfied with himself. When irritated, he becomes dangerous and may even go on the attack. More caution is therefore required when dealing with the stupid than with the wicked. Never try to convince the stupid with reasons; it's pointless and dangerous.

To understand how to deal with stupidity, we must try to understand its nature. This much is certain: it is not essentially an intellectual, but a human defect. There are people who are intellectually agile who are stupid, while intellectually inept people may be anything but stupid. We discover this to our surprise in certain situations.

One gets the impression that stupidity is often not an innate defect, but one that emerges under certain circumstances in which people are made stupid or allow themselves to be made stupid. We also observe that isolated and solitary people exhibit this defect less frequently than socializing groups of people. Thus, perhaps stupidity is less a psychological than a sociological problem. It is a special manifestation of the influence of historical circumstances on man—a psychological side effect of certain external conditions.

A closer look reveals that the strong exertion of external power, be it political or religious, strikes a large part of the people with stupidity. Yes, it seems as if this is a sociological-psychological law. The power of some requires the stupidity of others. Under this influence, human abilities suddenly wither or fail, robbing people of their inner independence, which they—more or less unconsciously —renounce to adapt their behavior to the prevailing situation."

I don't deal with people who don't have the integrity to use their names. I think you know where you can put it.

Thanks for posting. So few are aware of the gross over prevalence of children with autism being diagnosed and treated as GD. I am looking for the article on NIH by the original group of doctors/researchers/clinicians (De Vries, et al) whose studies were used to develop the Dutch Protocol, in which they were very upset that their data was being misapplied to claim consensus on diagnosis and treatment for this new type of GD. Someone here may already have that readily available, but it has gotten buried in my plethora of material. I will keep looking for it to post.

There are no new referrals because the Tav is already oversubscribed and due to be closed. It simply can't take on more. If facilities are limited, what will happen is a huge upsurge in grey market sourcing of hormones. There is no shortage of suppliers. You make your choice: either you have some sort of supervision or none at all. Some realism is required here.

Giselher Spitzer wrote a book about the victims in DDR Sport. They were all dopped with oral testosteron. In years 2004-2006 they took 52 interviews. Just some figures. 92% had skeletal illness, 25% cancer, 50% of female victims had gynecological problems, from them 6% had born a dead child, 21% had misscarigies. 35 victims had a common of 96 surgeries. The childreen of the victims are prone to skinillness (26%), deformity (1:10), mentally disablity (1:7). The original name of the book is "Wunden und Verwundungen". That much to the "settled science".

This is a well-argued rebuttal. However, the science coming from European countries that have far more experience with trans youth than the US is damning enough. Don't undermine it by bringing up Florida. Their surgeon general has been roundly criticized for promoting misinformation about COVID and the COVID vaccines. Left-wing or Right-wing, politics should have no place in science.

https://arstechnica.com/science/2022/10/that-florida-analysis-on-covid-vaccines-is-you-guessed-it-total-garbage/

Science denialism is a slippery slope. Deny COVID exists or vaccines work and you open the floodgates to more denialism, like denying biological sex is binary. If you say you support science, then support ALL of science, even if you don't agree with it. As Neil deGrasse Tyson said, "The good thing about science is that it’s true whether or not you believe it."

I see people say over and over that they are politically homeless. It is clear that both parties are in need of reshaping but -

I wonder whether we might all let go of the idea that we need political homes? Maybe it is easier for me to say because I never really had one. Right now I will only vote for people who actively take on the trans travesty. Otherwise I am staying home.
