I had much the same when I took my son to a gender clinic here in New Zealand. Like you I can't understand how puberty blockers and hormones can be handed out willnilly, and yet, as women who want to take oestrogen we are warned of the dangers, told we should only take for a finite time. It just doesn't make sense. The whole situation is very sad and even criminal.
Your normal, human, emotional reaction is part of their plan....sadly so.... Please don't let your feelings cloud your sane, logical thinking.... That only plays into the PSY OP & delusion....
I found Jennifer Bilek's book "Transgender-Transexual-Transhuman" to be very educational, and inspiring. She also has an excellent substack.
It is much more difficult for post-menopausal women to get estrogen than it is for impressionable, autistic young men to get it. I know a woman who is over fifty and post-menopausal and she is having a heck of a time getting her doctor to make a referral to an endocrinologist, or at least a women's health specialist, telling her instead that these changes are "just part of aging." Depression, brain fog, concentration issues, weight gain, migraines, irritability, and inability to do all the tasks she used to be able to do prior to menopause? These are just part of aging? But of course it's okay to give a confused boy hormones after a half hour consultation because "trans people have it so hard."
I am ashamed of my home city and outraged that a once fine hospital is now engaging in this kind of quackery. So angry to read this. I had no idea this was going on there.🤬
How old is your son?This might be oversimplistic, but how old is your son? When my daughter was 18, she wanted a tattoo (don't we all wish that this is what they want in comparison?!). I told her to go ahead, but she needed to move out. She didn't believe me at first, but I persisted and my husband backed me up. She's 22 now and she realises that a tattoo might be something she would tire of over time. Is he young enough that you can say not under my roof? Or would they remove him from your home in Canada if you were to deny it?
It really is the ultimate betrayal. A medical doctor is prescribing drugs which will permanently damage your son's body and mind...based on nonsense. Insanity.
Can honestly bypass docs altogether if they really want & go online. That’s the problem with this culturally endorsed mind virus & ‘free will’. Speaking the truth is dangerous & unpopular, but our instincts are right. This is all so very wrong.

It escapes my rational mind to understand how so many otherwise intelligent people can be so irrational and deceived by this.
I had hoped that the rational side of my ASD (unofficially) son would have kept him safer from this. And was surprised to learn (a while ago) that this actually has a higher rate in the ASD cohort. He always seemed more logical and black and white in his thinking. I mark it largely up to the challenges and at times rejections fitting in socially.

These kids (or young adults) go to gender appointments signed sealed, and delivered. Most clinics state they do not address mental health issues. That is the role of the mental health professions. We all know how easy the sign off from that industry is. Today s psyche letter can even be bought online stating patient x meets the subjective diagnostic criteria of "trans."
"Trans" breeds more industry in fields like cancer, artificial reproductive tech, tissue engineering, and more. There is a race to transhumanism. Our kids are practice. It is a sick agenda. I pray your son is steered to truth.

The issue is this "doctor" who used your child to experiment on. I want to know who this "doctor" is so that no one that I know and love ever comes in contact with her. Thank you for sharing your story. I hope that your child figures out how bad it is to put the opposite hormones in his body before it is too late.
That's terrifying to hear that a doctor would respond to questions about side effects of a medication they're prescribing, in the same way an insufferable online troll would. I hope your son comes round soon

What are the informed consent ethics or laws in your province? You asked a good question and were not provided informed consent.
