After two gut-wrenching and disorienting years, my teenager has announced she no longer identifies as trans. It feels too soon to celebrate, but at Stella O’Malley’s urging I want to share some hope for other parents. It’s been amazing to see my beautiful daughter emerging from this period with unprecedented confidence, comfort in her body, and a “can’t-fuck-with-me” attitude.
Thank you for sharing this insight into your world. I cried tears of joy and you gave me such hope! Your 5 convictions are fantastic! I am so happy for you and for your daughter and I pray she is indeed out of the woods to never return. Most of these stories on PITT are raw, horrifying, depressing, heart wrenching and so unbearably sad but we need to share our truth and support one another. To read an uplifting story encourages all of us to not give up! I am so thankful for Stella O'Malley's urging and that you listened to her advice and shared this glimmer of hope. I long for the day my sister tells me that her only son has returned home, unharmed. We are all in this together!
Thank you for sharing your testimony! I hope & pray that my soon to be 15yo daughter has the same revelation your daughter had! I pray and love on her daily! I tell her I ❤️you no matter what, even if you make good or bad choices!
I’m heartened by your beautiful example. This is, and always has been The Way, to show radical love and patience to one who is sick. In all situations - the capital T truth.
"Gender ideology is a religion of spiritual possession. The entire edifice rests on mass belief in, and pledge of obedience to, non-physical animating spirits that seek to reshape human bodies. Public officials and medical professionals conspire to mutilate and sterilize children to satisfy these imagined spiritual inhabitants. This is horrific, medieval abuse hiding in plain sight."
Your last comment about wondering how others who rushed to accept the new identity will accept the change - it's telling. And I hope they self reflect on their own feelings about it.
Thank you so much for sharing your family's story! It gives us all hope. Do you mind me asking if you used your daughters preferred pronouns during the time she trans identified?
Definitely a must-watch. I don't agree with all things covered by the Epoch Times but they are spot-on with the gender toxicity stuff. Why gender clinics and their affirming butchers and endocrine-disorder inducers don't or won't acknowledge social contagion is criminal. Scroll down from this link to watch the full interview.
You give me hope. My daughter is now 18 and still firmly entrenched in the mindset, but hasn’t done anything irreversible and all I can do is hope that she comes to her senses like your daughter did. Thank you for your story.
I am so relieved for you and your daughter! It probably felt weird to write your update but actually, you helped me to realize that, unbeknownst to myself, my husband and I did many of those things that you suggest (love, body language, meals, dinners outside, pets) without even realizing it! At the time we had only been told by our high school daughter of her non binary "discovery". Now she is 21 and full on Trans life. It's so, so sad to watch her health decline and our relationship shatter. Usually I feel total despair that we caught all of this too late and wish we had done so many things to help...but you have made me realize I was doing those things, but just in a state of naivete. They haven't worked yet, but I can hope. Thank you.
Pleased to inform all that at my request the Jefferson County Colorado Public Library has ordered two copies of PITTs 'Tales From the Home Front in the Fight to Save Our Kids'.
Yes, and tell your friends to request titles too, as the book purchaser will be more favorably inclined to get them. Our local library was proudly stocking banned books, 6 out of 10 of which were YA titles with themes of sex, violence and trans, while censoring books for parents seeking to understand the agenda!
I’m so happy for you. I wish that I were able to follow your advice. Sadly my daughter is 27, and 600 miles away. And has now blocked our texts. We pray for the day she comes to her senses. In the meantime we can only wait.

Request that your public library do the same!

I am so happy for you and your family!!! Thank you for sharing and it does give me hope for my almost 18 year old senior.
Thank you for sharing. I encourage anyone else with positive stories to share them. They are a lifeline for those of us drowning in despair.
Hang in there❤️
