Thank you for this. Most of us were tomboys at that age. It was a time of freedom where stereotypes were not so strong, the explanation of our "weirdness" was just that we were children, no sex defining agenda was push on us, we were free to be innocent and "weird". Nowadays we have to commit to our "confusion".

I feel abhorrence and visceral recoil when the title “doctor” is used for a person destroying a child’s body. Puberty blockers are not medicine. Surgical mutilation is not medicine. The perpetrators of these practices are monsters. I pray one day there will be a prosecution in front a tribunal in the manner Nazis were prosecuted at Nuremberg.
In the meantime, it occurs to me that social media companies have paid out large damages for much less just recently. Mattel should be sued for this one if they owned American Girl at that time as they do now. If not them, whoever the corporate owners were should be sued.
I am sure your daughter’s innocence is still there.. even if she fell into the mouth of the wolves… organized by all the cunning foxes from the university of cunning. Naivety may be a weakness but I believe that the actual quality of innocence is her strength to know herself…

With all the above that you refer to… any child would fall for it at least once.. possibly 108 times if they trust in their teachers and society in a healthy way. Falling for it once is enough to get caught up.
Doctors traditionally have the most respected role…. They are supposed to have the most intelligence, discrimination and wisdom in how to act and diagnose.
If doctors are the one’s who lose their discrimination about a condition which is essentially about ‘discrimination’ in a way… between the basic discrimination between male and female … then of course it opens the floodgates in the society… for greater confusion…

This whole thing is so “progressive” it seems as though it is trying to march us out of evolution?? ! But it’s not in the pattern of evolution.. so it cannot be sustained.
At least we can have some faith that truth itself has a way of bringing us around eventually?!

They are probably brave souls.
I can imagine that if a young person is made to believe that sex itself is a false construction created by the society then what adventurous spirit wouldn’t join the revolution? … starting with their own body as the example.. of dismantling the “falsehoods of the past!!!!”

Unfortunately, I think there is a great deal of intentionality, planning, and money. Did you know that the American Academy of Pediatrics actually pushed for no age limits?:

I wish this photo, and the short explanation for it that you provided, could be plastered on every page of the New York Times every day for a year. Then maybe, just maybe, people would start to understand that they are not helping children by pretending they are the opposite sex, chemically and surgically altering their teenaged bodies to be less healthy and less functional, and forcing those children to live a lie for the rest of their lives or suffer the pain of the eventual realization that the adults around them lied and caused them harm.
You were born the way you were born - a girl who liked the idea of being a boy and the clothing and stereotypes that accompanied being a boy. You were not born in the "wrong body," or with the inherent need to be lied to and/or chemically and surgically altered to appear the opposite sex. You were allowed to grow up in your intact body without lies. As an adult, I gather that you accept your body and likely feel pretty grateful for it! This is what all children deserve.
Thank you for sharing and speaking up. You are spot on. Share this with your children and their friends, even if it seems impossible that your child will ever fall for this.

I didn't share this with my daughter because she was so much more 'girly' I thought she'd think it strange, and I never thought it would be a problem for her. But adolescent and teen insecurity hits us all, and the internet offered 'solutions.'
