It needs to apply through at least age 25 regarding the harm; then 30 years. The vast majority of those who pursue medicalization do so 18+.

I'm sorry. I'm sad and angry for you. What happened to your son, your family is a tragedy. I hope your story is heard by the wider public. We need to listen and learn. My son was indoctrinated for several years. The thin line between escaping and succumbing to his despair is not lost on me and his dad. Sending prayers and love to you, thank you for sharing your story. He is not forgotten.

Dearest Parent, thank you for caring still. Your voice is so important, and will help many. You have suffered the greatest loss that a parent can have and you rejoice at the good news for other hurting children and families. You are so appreciated and loved, may God bless you and comfort you.

I love you, Indio

It’s difficult to understand the strict rules for 25 & under renting a vehicle or a hotel/condo…but a permanent surgical decision causing lifelong health issues…thankful for this EO but hoping they consider how and what ages brains are fully functioning.

I can't even understand how angry I would've been at this not that long ago, but now I am so happy. Kids with actual gender dysmorphia need support, not surgery. What they do as adults is their business but at this stage this is child abuse. I would even advocate that the minimum age should be 21. I was one of those kids who was manipulated by a parent, and I'm still struggling so much. I never had surgery but just the drugs have messed me up both physically and mentally. My mother and doctor went so far as to schedule top surgery even after I said I didn't want it. My only saving grace was that with the help of my dad I was and to stand up for myself before it was too late. I firmly stand against chemical and surgical transitioning for minors. I will die on this hill.”

Munchausen's by Proxy. The transitioning of minors is a fertile field for medical child abusers.

Thank you for sharing your story. It counters the narrative that not allowing a child to transition will lead to suicide. The opposite happened to your son. I'm thankful that you're willing to speak out in spite of (and because of) the loss you've suffered. More people need to hear the truth about these tragic outcomes.

You have suffered the ultimate loss. I am so sorry.

"to view their parents and their reality as enemies to be blamed" - this states it very well.

"These practices not only erode critical thinking but also sow division, confusion, and distrust, which undermine the very foundations of personal identity and family unity." Spot on.

I think this wonderful EO is just the start of fixing the country and healing society.
